Elaia is a sweet little property right in the heart of Pergamon old town. Vedat is a kind and hospitable owner who makes fantastic breakfasts and goes out of his way to help in any way he can. Would strongly recommend staying here when visiting Bergama.
This hotel is located in the heart of old Bergama and offers a charming pool area with a terrace and garden. Guests can make use of a well-equipped common kitchen.

The breakfast was excellent. Variety of ingredients typical for Turkish cuisine. The yard was beautiful with plenty of flowers and it was nice to have a rest with a cup of coffee on the tables there.
Featuring a roof-top swimming pool, the Efsane Hotel is less than a 10-minute ride from the centre of Bergama. It offers air-conditioned guestrooms with balconies, and free Wi-Fi.

Wonderful ancient sites , lovely peaceful hotel and nearby restaurant under the Acropolis!!
Local otogard ( coach station) is almost deserted so travellers need to be told about the regular transit bus service to the town/ hotels

Bergama is one of the Stops that I did for the Bike tour in Izmir. Pergamum Acropolis is the main highlight of the area and worth the visit.
The town is quite quaint and was a refreshing change from the city where I came from.
I was travelling on a bike - so getting around town is quite easy enough, walking through town was also pleasant.
Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes - as the city is on cobbles and quite hilly.
Across from the Bergama Museum - there is a nice outdoor Beer Garden where one can have some kebabs and beer.

It is a must seen site.
It is a must seen site. Both Akropol and Asklepion are one of the best in ancient history.
Lovely landscape and rich history. Please do not expect night life here. Todays Bergama town might be a little difficult to drive around, cause it has narrow, one way streets like in Spain, but GPS works really well. It is safe for solo travelers too.
Everything, simply wonderful!!! The hotel is in a renovated old traditional house and everything is beautiful there. It's located in a very quite neighbourhood and only few minutes walk from the access to the archeological site. The center with many shops and restaurants is also just few minutes walk in the opposite direction. And one of the best things here is the traditional breakfast they serve in the hotel with different kinds of olives, different kinds of local cheese and much more. I have enjoyed it a lot here, thank you!!!
Great place. Staff, restaurant, pool, breakfast - all amazing. The room was outdated but exactly as shown on the photos so no surprises.
Location really good for visits to the Pergamon ancient city. Don’t get fooled by signs telling you the walk back down to the hotel from the Pergamon is 6 hrs. It is not and well worth the effort.
We didn’t get out of the hotel much bc we really enjoyed it there but it seems Bergama itself has some rather nice spots.
This is a hotel in a small village in the hills. It is a 30 minute drive either to Bergama or to the beach.
The rooms are basically just standalone stone buildings. The owners are a charming family that do everything they can for you to feel amazing! It is quiet and comfortable (aside from the Mosque that may wake you up early in the morning).
The breakfast and the dinner in the evening (included!) are delicious and tasty!
The owner of the hotel is lovely! We had a great reception and we even could choose which room we preferred. The room was super spacious and even if functional decoration, it was charming. We enjoyed the pool and although there were several bees (I have a bit of panic) I truly recommend using it. We also had dinner and breakfast here and overall it was all very good and tasty! In general we could only recommend this place :)
Good place for an overnight stay: the room was spacious, with comfortable beds, a nice shower, good breakfast. Has a rooftop pool, but we got there off-season. Though the hotel is located on a very busy street - the soundproofing of the windows is good. And personal thanks to the lovely administrator, who noticed that I paid more in cash than the agreed price and came 15 min later to return the money
Beautiful hotel from an 1881 converted seminary. The rooms are comfortable and clean in the historic setting. The location is great to both visit Pergamon and walk into the city for dinner. We did not stay for breakfast, however the hotel was kind enough to make us tea before we departed early in the morning.
-Staff super kind and offering a very professional service. Very familial treat.
- Beautiful place ! Old restored building with views to the acropolis and the city of Bergama. Amazing!
- Terrace for the breakfast was very cute and enjoyable, with views.
- The location was in a cute area
For a stay in Bergama, this place can't be beat. It's small and family-run, and it's remarkably well-kept. The decor in the rooms was lovely, and the breakfast in the morning was top-notch. If I ever find myself traveling between Istanbul and Izmir, I will definitely book this place!
I have to start with the price, because this was unbelievably inexpensive. The hotel is not in a great location for restaurants or nightlife, but the cost makes up for that. The room was fine, with the bathroom a little tighter than I would like. Overall, a pleasant place to stay
An excellent no-frills hotel, very helpful staff and great location (virtually opposite the museum and easy walking distance to the bus station). We had a great view of the Acropolis from our room; the bathroom was better than several bigger and more expensive than the Anil.
The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast, which was diversified and tasty. I especially appreciated the individually-controlled AC. The reception staff was kind. The pool looked inviting, but we did not try it. The hotel grounds were quiet and we were able to rest.
This beautifully restored historic, charming hotel is perfectly located with a wonderful view from the terrace. Breakfast was excellent - fresh local produce. The owners are very friendly, lovely local people.
Wonderful host who helped smooth our journey both to Elaia Hotel and onwards to our next destination. Put us in touch with the perfect, most knowledgeable, guide for our most personal tour objectives.
Very nice family hotel. Interesting idea (looks like an old palazzo), friendly staff, perfect tasty breakfast, free parking, small pool.
Great location close to the Red Basilica.
Strongly recommend!
The location on a charming plaza, the host, the large bed and bathroom and the breakfast! I enjoyed so much Bergama that I stayed longer than planned and stocked to this charming hotel
The place is very centrally located and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond with helping us get a parking spot right at the front of the hotel.
