Clondalkin is close to the centre of Dublin, however the motorways take a bit of gettng used to, if you are not used to such an intricate network of motorways then you might spend a significant amount of time getting lost and going round in circles. However its close to many things and there is a shopping centre close by with all the popular outlets.

Room service is pizza only after 9pm and a choice of two.

Room service is pizza only after 9pm and a choice of two. I got margarita it was vile, expensive and would not recommend. Breakfast was passable but needed improvement and more attentive floor staff .Room perfect, reception staff lovely but clearly using a computer system that causes delays ,it should not take over 10 mins to check someone in when they arrive after peak check in time. We didnt have dinner in the restaurant so cannot comment but avoid room service after 9pm and walk across to burger king...thank me later.

We stayed just one night on our way back from the West and with an early ferry in the morning and so did not have an opportunity to see the area or use local services. It was a useful place to stay for access to the city centre and looked well cared for.

The hotel has got a great location. You can access a lot of different areas of Dublin from here. There are a number of Parkruns that are within easy reach of Clondalkin. I have stayed here before and I would intend to stay here again in the future.

Great parking, a huge shopping centre nearby, & instant access to the main Motorway to the West, a real bonus for a traveller like myself. I ate very comfortably in my room, having bought in food at the Shopping Centre opposite the hotel. The Clayton hotel staff were very efficient and helpful, they made my overnight a very pleasant experience.

Phoned reception 1 hour prior to arriving and straight away they were helpful. Upon arrival, smiling, friendly, outgoing, they could not have been more helpful. Clean and inviting hotel. Bar area, clean, well staffed and very accommodating. Breakfast area, well looked after, clean and as for the staff... excellent. Look out for Chloe, she will put you in good form for the day. We left breakfast laughing 😅.

Location was nice, 25min on bus to Dublin city centre. Bar and restaurant on site, vending machines on each floor and staff are friendly. Staff quick to meet needs and requests throughout the stay. Aldi 2 min walk away for basic supplies and a selection of take aways across the road. Large park Corkagh park nearby which is excellent for kids. Spent 4/5!days there with our younger kids.

The kids section of the pool is a great size and depth. We were up early with three kids breakfast over by 8. Ready to get in the pool but kids can’t access the pool until 9. Given how separated the pool area is for kids and it’s a family hotel I think this needs to be looked at as kids are usually early risers!!!! Good choice for breakfast.

Wonderful stay at the Maldron, staff were very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Hotel is very clean and neat, a great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. There are 2 bus stops located within 500m where you can catch a but into the city, and with the visitor leap card that we purchased it was much cheaper than using a taxi.
