A Fairytale cottage, peaceful, lovely, private surroundings.
A Fairytale cottage, peaceful, lovely, private surroundings. Laszlo and Linda are terrific hosts and Gabi was very helpful. The clean cottage offers many amenities and a blissful sleep. The terrace is available for meals, relaxing with a glass of local wine or reading. The local grocery operated by kind owners is within walking distance. We were lucky to join in on the village festival and a nearby Farmer's Market. A pleasant ride through quaint villages to Tapolc, Heviz, Herend Porcelain Factory and Museum and passing many vineyards on the way to Balaton Lake. Overall, many delightful memories.

It's a small village that gets more interesting when there...
It's a small village that gets more interesting when there is a festival happening, otherwise it doesn't offer entertainment in itself too long. But it's a perfect location to explore the northern shore and surroundings of Balaton. It is easy to get to Tihany, Szigliget castle, Badacsony area, lake itself, Nagyvazsony castle. If you like lavender, don't forget to come here when it's the harvesting season,there are plenty spots to collect tons of it.
