Friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained and spacious room. Relaxing view over the garden, river and mountains. Large comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine: not abundant but enough choice. The room had comfortable chairs to sit and read or look over the river. No noise from other guests. With the car, Namen is very easy and quick to reach.
Less than 164 yards from the Citadel of Namur, surrounded by a spacious park, the Château de Namur has a sit-down restaurant and a bar, as well as free access to a fitness center and a tennis court.

It was a very lovely building. Our room was cozy and very comfortable. Having two sinks in the bathroom was great. They had a safe place to lock up our bicycles. The restaurant was beautiful. We had a fabulous dinner.

We loved the room and the bed, and the shower, just really well put together and well designed. A lovely ambiance, but certainly not something for traditionalists - if you like oak and oil on canvass paintings, then look elsewhere. This is a confidently sophisticated and modernist hotel: very comfortable bed, and very clean. Great restaurant downstairs, love the Belgium cuisine and hospitality. Brilliant.
Only 4.5 mi from the city center of Namur, you can find Class'Eco Namur, which provides free WiFi throughout the property and on-site private parking facilities.

Generally unknown gem of a place that is little known outside of Belgium. Really pleasant feel to the place and ocne the renovation works of the citadel are complete then Namur will have had a good overhaul, along with the riverside developments of 3-4 years ago.

Namur seemed fully booked, being a celebration weekend, but we found our stay in Jaumes was in fact perfect for our one night. Close to all amenities and after securely parking the car we spent our time exploring the nearby citadel and riverside. Might have to visit again to see Namur itself!

There's a gondola ride to the citadel where there's a visitor centre and a dotto train. There are boat rides on the river. There's a small park. It's ok for a day, maybe two, not longer.

Beautifull, not too big city with loads of visible history,...
Beautifull, not too big city with loads of visible history, characteristic buildings and architecture dating back to medieval times. A cosy but also mondain historic city center with loads of good bars and restaurants and cultural events. During daytime and summer its widely visited by tourists and one has to be able to accept that. Its logical when a city has that much to offer and is so hospital. Despite the Poor Hotel de Lives we stayed, the people in the city helped us out where we lacked knowledge of french language. A big difference with 30 years ago when peuple du wallon would not speak any other word then their french. Now I met people being proud to also speak dutch AND fair english, which is great when they work in hospitality or restaurants. From here a daytrip to Dinant where the saxophone was invented is worth the trouble as its only a half hr countryside drive. Every N road in belgium is worth roadtripping as there are objects everywhere. The highways are mostly flanked by trees, and often in not a good shape. I call them "launch surface" as on parts of the road 2 of 4 wheels are always detached from the road that bumpy it is. And that is fun but drive carefully and save, to see as much as you can. You can see the city and citadel in a day if you hurry a bit, but 2 nights/3days is perfect if you like to take things easy but want to see it all. It is also the capital of Wallonie, and a perfect base to make diverse trips in any direction, all reachable within half an hour. Brussels, Waterloo, Abbaye Villiers, Dinant, Coal Mines and streetart in Charleroi etcetera. Have fun!

The city has interesting places to visit but we were only there for a night, and after a long journey.
NB staying at the Youth Hospital is very inexpensive and convenient but you need to take your own towel.
Le duplex d'Albert is a little apartment in Namur, very near to the city centre and with a private parking. This apartment is an attic with two floors, kitchen and dining room at first level and bedroom and bathroom at the second level. The apartment is very nice and confortable, with air conditioning and all that you need in the kitchen. There is also a balcony with a fantastic view on the Namur citadel. So this place is perfect to visit Namur or other little cities in Wallonie.
The room is very modern, big and comfortable with a very big and clean bathroom. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, we had two very good nights of sleep.
The location is good, you can walk up the hill to the citadel in about 10 to 15 minutes. The centre is also about a 10 mins walk. There is parking on the street which is free on the weekends and a paid parking dedicated to the hotel and casino guests. If you are a guest you get 50% off parking.
It is a very nice place to stay, the room is freshly renovated, the design of the room is very pleasant. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly.
We made barbeque in the afternoon outside the hotel after having a nice hike around the city.
The breakfast was amazing, very diverse and delicious.
The place is still new, the renovation works are on going, and once completed, it would be perfect.
Highly recommended for a weekend trip to Namur.
Modern nicely decorated hotel with exceptional staff, very friendly and helpful. Large spacious bedroom and shower room, comfortable bed, large desk with ample plug points, spotlessly clean. Nice breakfast, free on site parking, close to the motorway so excellent for an overnight stay when driving across Europe, quiet rooms, good soundproofing, excellent, popular restaurant on site - make sure you book a table in advance.
It was very well located. Walking distance to the centre of the city. Although very close to the train station you could not hear the trains. This property is brand new. It was very clean. Offered very nice breakfasts. It also has free lockers for your suitcases which is very practical. The staff is extremely polite and helpful.
The rooms were spacious, clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was simple but delicious and totally worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the arranged our transition from one apartment to another in a smooth way. The hotel is conveniently located in the historical part of Namur and it free parking for guests.
At a few steps from the city center, with enjoyable view on the river, the apartment was like being in a 5* hotel exclusive suite, with top standards in term of equipment, furniture and decoration. The fireplace gives a magic touch to the stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped as well, there is nothing missing.
It’s well located, in the city centre but in a quiet area.
It was sparkling clean and has everything needed for a great stay, and all the kitchen gear needed for cooking. There are cafes, bars and restaurants around. if you come by car, there is also paid parking nearby. The apartment is really charming.
The hotel was spacious, clean and very near the motorway exit. The bed was comfortable ( pillows thin) staff were excellent, very helpful. Great stop over for 1 night although no shops etc within walking distance. There is a lovely restaurant next door to the hotel.
Hotel on the outskirts of Namur. Only a 15 minute walk to the centre.
Has a very small 'plunge' pool so dont expect to swim!
Room nice, comfortable, very large bathroom. Coffee machine in room too.
Parking on street as short walk from hotel (free)
Perfect position, in front of the train station and really near the centre of Namur. Lots of restaurants and places to eat nearby, with great variety of food (thai, japan, greek, italian eccetera). The best all over
Bed namur in the old town walk from namur train station around 10 mins
My room in floor 2.5 (no.9) and share bathroom (floor 3) room is clean. In the kitchen there is microwave, stove, kettle and coffee maker.
Very well designed - great layout and high quality fixtures and fittings.
Great location from the Namur city centre and station. Offers a lovely balance between location and price.
The location is perfect for exploring Namur. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast is very good. There is a bar for drinks and an outside patio area for sunny days.
