Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Ailwee Cave, also featuring an underground river and a waterfall, is only 3km from the property. Our hosts, Wolfgang and Maria were delightful and so helpful. We felt at home in our cosy Burren suite and also in the common areas. Breakfasts were amazing. Our 9 night stay would have to be the best ever for me.

At the country house, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Restful scenic and clean with loads to do and see in the area. This is a new build Stunning house with loads of room. Helen was a great host and happy to help with anything we needed. Loads of parking available.

Built in the Georgian period in 1736, Aran View Country House stands on a hill on the coast road and commands one of the finest views of the wild Clare coastline. Doolin village is just 10 minutes' walk away. Wonderful weeding greetings with prosecco, chocolate and strawberries. Outmost hospitality...what else?! :)

Country House 20 minutes to Galway City, a property with a garden, is set in Kilcolgan, 21 km from Galway Railway Station, 22 km from St. Nicholas Collegiate Church, as well as 22 km from National University of Galway. With free private parking, the property is 19 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium and 21 km from Eyre Square. Beautiful location, big rooms and cozy living room. Kitchen was well stocked and had all the equipment. Bridgid was so thoughtful and attentive, she left us some fresh milk and some chocolate for when we checked in and was very helpful throughout our stay
