On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the country house's outdoor fireplace. It's located in a vineyard, with beautiful views of the mountain and of the valley, 20 min driving from Cafayate. As you can imagine, it is a very quiet area, you will only hear birds and the wind at night and that was amazing. We found the entire place clean and comfortable. The fact that check-in is allowed until late was also a plus, as the drive from Cachi took longer than expected. Gustavo was a nice host, he had a lot of patience with my struggling Spanish. We had dinner and wine there, which were both delicious and had the unexpected pleasure of listening to an ad hoc guitar concert from our talented host and one his guests. That evening was truly the highlight of our trip in Notheast Argentina and we will always remember it :)

Finca Valentina features upscale country-house ambiance. It has stylish off-white furniture and walls and red-tiled floors. There is a living room with a fireplace and a library. Wi-Fi is free. We booked this hotel at first just because the proximity with the airport. Going there by taxi from airport in the night, we’re not sure where we’re going. But when we arrived, the hospitality of the staff went beyond, the room is really cute, well decorated and very comfortable. it’s definitely a Salta’s hidden gem!

This was by far the most beautiful place we’ve stayed in during our one month trip through Argentina. The farm is located about 20 minutes outside of Cachi amongst beautiful surroundings. The house immediately felt like home, our hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and open, and the grounds and the farm are simply breathtaking. We had a very well equipped room with a comfortable bed and slept to the sounds of nature and a passing stream. You can easily explore the area from the farm or spend a day enjoying the grounds as we did. Breakfast was fantastic and made with love, wine and snacks were available to buy, and it’s easy to get into town for meals either by driving or a cheap taxi ride. We immediately wanted to extend our stay and have promised to come back again soon.
