Awesome place, unique experience for those who likes the noble fashion of the old Italian villas and the stories behind them. The room was exactly the one we selected, it was fairly clean, the bed was very big and comfortable. We also enjoyed a lot the hospitality of Paola, the tips received from Andrea and last but not least Marina's tour guide in the ancient Villa Rossi. We spent very relaxing days by walking in the huge garden, swimming in the interior pool next to the room and talking about the old eras with the owners. The old villa is absolutely a priceless treasure with the huge rooms, backyard terrace and the stunning frescos.

Beautiful location, amazing house,we spent some hours in one of the living rooms just relaxing, checking those nice old books, watching the sunset. Super hospitable place and people. Tea/coffee/snacks and fruits are available the whole day. Lovely swimming pool. 10 out of 10!

We relished our 4 day stay. We've stayed in many hotels, pensions, and bed & breakfasts; and house Farinati is way-y-y up top with the very few best of them all. Understated elegance, classic Tuscan ambiance, a comfortable room, delightful terrace for delicious meals and refreshments with a panoramic view and a superior staff made our stay fly by way too quickly. This secret gem met and exceeded our holiday hotel expectations in every way.

Breakfast was exceptional. There was a huge selection of different types of food. The location was perfect. They offered bike rentals and it is just a short distance to Lucca. The host and the entire team were very welcoming and friendly.

Location is brilliant, it's a bit of a walk into Lucca - especially if it is hot, but it's quiet, peaceful and great for parking. There's also a small supermarket nearby and a couple of bars and eateries. Giovanna is a great host, really easy to get hold of and looks after you if you need it - for the deposit, make sure you have cash! I completely forgot about this.

Everything was as we expected it to be. The area is relatively isolated and quiet, something we wanted to have. The host was friendly and explained everything in details. Shared some tips about local places to visit. The house was big and the beds were comfortable. We found everything we needed during our 8 nights stay. The was a barbecue which we did not use unfortunately We were pleasantly surprised by a welcome bottle of wine and cake.

A family run BnB in a typical italian house. Nothing fancy but a big comfortable bed and a nice very clean room run by very lovely and friendly people. Private parking was great. 15-20 minutes walk to the town of Lucca which just beautiful. A nice place to stay and I’d stay there again for sure. And the church bells on a Sunday were lovely to hear.
