What an exceptionally lovely place to stay. It just vibed so right. Plush comfy bed and bedding. Amazing brekkie with local produce. Do not miss the home made bread! And nice convos with proprietors. I am going to try to visit Killarney again just to stay at Gleann Fia Country House again.

This family-run small hotel is amazing. The owners and staff strive for perfection and it shows: Rooms are spacious, spotless clean, well furnished and with a large window facing a beautiful field and lake. It was like waking up into an impressionist painting. Breakfast was wonderful, with a good number of choices. Owners are extremely helpful: We checked-in late after a long drive, when both the hotel restaurant and all restaurants in the area were closed. They sent us a platter of salmon sandwiches, and didn't even charge us for it. Dinner in restaurant is highly recommended.

Host, Sarah, was extremely welcoming and generously stocked the fridge with all sorts of goodies to start our stay in the ideal way. Sarah was unobtrusively helpful in suggesting places to see. Will make a point of staying there again when next we visit Kerry, and would recommend to friends and family. The property was well located to explore Kerry and Cork.

The place was created with the privacy of its guests in mind and you feel like there's no one else around. It’s charming, cozy, clean, with a great bed and good shower. The small kitchen has everything you need to make a quick breakfast or dinner. I would highly recommend this place.
