The Cabana was an absolutely amazing place to stay. Malinda and Stephen went above and beyond to make us comfortable and happy. Beautifully furnished and decorated accomodation, delicious food (ask Malinda to make you one of his mango lassis - absolutely devine!) and superb service. They put so much effort into creating an unforgettable experience for us at Nuwara Eliya. They also organised a driver to pick us up from the train station who ended up being our guide. Prasanna is an absolute star with lots of knowledge about the area and great recommendations for activities so you never get bored.

Boasting pool views, Hilldale Retreat provides accommodation with an infinity pool, a garden and a shared lounge, around 12 km from Gregory Lake. The staff were really friendly and had fantastic views. The food was also very good.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Shirin1892 is a country house situated in a historic building in Nuwara Eliya, 1.7 km from Gregory Lake. Shirin1892 is a lovely homestay surrounded by idyllic mountains and tea plantations. It's located about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Nuwara Eliya and 10 minute walk to Gregory Lake. The host, Asela is so friendly, helpful and accomodating and told us lots of stories and history about Nuwara Eliya and his family home. Our room was very big and comfortable and we had thick blankets for the colder nights. The home was like stepping back in time and it was so interesting to see the contrast of architecture, decor etc to homes in the rest of Sri Lanka. Quiet place surrounded by greenery, you can just sit down and take a small break there. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Food (breakfast/dinner) was amazing.

Located within 5.1 km of Gregory Lake and 12 km of Hakgala Botanical Garden in Nuwara Eliya, Lily Bank Cottage features accommodation with seating area. We loved everything about this place. The rooms were clean, beds were extremely comfortable, food was great and beatiful bathroom so far our favorite place we stated in Sri Lanka. People who run this place were always making sure everyone was comfortable, had what needed and were happy. Loved our three nights stay here and would definitely return. We got tea and cookies on arrival which was very kind. Thank you ! Highly recommend it!

The room was spacious and very comfortable, and extremely clean. A great shower temperature and pressure. An easy tuktuk ride into the centre. Breakfast was delicious and generously sized. And the staff were extremely kind and polite and so helpful. We had a wonderful time

Offering barbecue facilities and views of the mountains, Thuring's Holiday Bungalow is set in Nuwara Eliya, 600 metres from Gregory Lake. Free private parking is available on site. The place was clean and very well maintained. The owner was very kind and accommodating. A 5 min walk to the lake but still in a place that's quiet.

Tea Hills Bungalow is located in Hatton. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of this chalet. good location and value for money. very helpful staff and excellent service
