Icmeler is next to the busy town of Marmaris.
Icmeler is next to the busy town of Marmaris. It is separate. It is a large village with lots of good restaurants. The beach is very fine shingle. It is a beautiful place with pine hills sweeping down to the shore. We have been 25 times and nearly all people return.

Very-very hot! The sun killing all fun. Beaches aren't clean at all. Don't expect sand on the beach, there are many stones big or small, but stones. Despite garbage cans placed everywhere, people managed to throw garbage everywhere. Also people are smoking everywhere. It's legal but it's a problem when people around you smoke on a playground, a beach, in a restaurant.

Great restaurants Love Boat , IDA, Lighthouse , Taj Mahal, The chef . ,small friendly boat trips with Springboat no more than 20 people everyone can sunbathe and relax in comfort . If you want a real Turkish experience go to somewhere like...
If you want a real Turkish experience go to somewhere like istanbul first or after. Eventhough we did enjoy Icmeler, it felt like a town catered to Brits not getting a true experience of Turkey. Many resturants, bars and shops cater to British food, drink and cheap knock off designer clothes (not what we are after) If thats what you want from a holiday then you will have the best holiday. The locals are friendly, the area is very safe and the beach is beautiful. We did find resturants which catered to traditional turkish food, one of the being Kerem a family owned resturant in a beautiful establishment. Take a day trip to Rhodes, it was stunning, I wouldn't bother visiting Pamukkale unless you stay over night, too far for a day trip.EmmaUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Everyone very friendly it’s busy but not to busy which is great when you have kids. There is loads to do and the trips are reasonably priced. Food is great and cheap. Richards was my favourite place to eat and kids loved it as up on the bar dancing, it’s a family run business and you can tell as they can not do enough for you.AngelaUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
Icmeler has a good location.
Icmeler has a good location. It is close to Marmaris and Turunc. Also to Amos. It has several car rental companies. It also has clean water if you are a freediver (to the right from the city (from the beach behind the boat station and to the rocks) It has Migros and Costa supermarkets. But it is quite loud in the center.ЮрийRussia
