The hotel rooms are okay, but I was bothered by several other things that shouldn't happen in a 5-star hotel.
The first surprise is that parking in the hotel garage needs to be paid separately, especially when there are no other parking options available. It's not about the amount; it's more about the principle.
The self-service breakfasts and dinners are relatively basic, and the presentation of food in the self-service area is poor. There's often a shortage of certain dishes, and the presentation of food is quite unappealing. The buffet is often overcrowded, and cleanliness could be better (e.g., dirty menus...).
There are tea-making facilities in the rooms, but there's no instant coffee, which would be highly desirable. The explanation from the reception that this is not standard is inappropriate.
The drink selection at the bar is very limited, for example, only 4 types of beer.
The staff is generally very friendly, but unfortunately, there are also some exceptions.
Located in the centre of Rogaška Slatina, Hotel Slatina offers an on-site bar and restaurant, a small spa area with an indoor pool and sauna, as well as a games room and a library.

Front desk personnel were excellent, breakfast was good but supervisory staff failed to communicate and advise offers, room and bathroom were modern and spotless.

It’s a really nice house with donkey’s. Up a hill but only 8 min drive from town. You have everything you’ll need in the house. Very nice sunrises and sunsets. Beautiful fall colors. The owners were very nice. Brought fresh farm eggs. And when the stores were closed for two days ( national holiday) that we did not know about they brought us some food! We felt very welcome!!
Set in a scenic chateau in a wooded area, these spacious rooms ensure a memorably stay and come with free WiFi.

Unfortunately, we spent only one night in this beautiful place, but we didn't want to leave at all. The accommodation and place is magical, beautifully thought out. The hospitality of the owner Janko Zupanec is incredible. Wine, fantastic home cooking in the best sense of the word, simply amazing. We had the opportunity to taste Janko's salami .. for sure the best I have ever eaten. We are very much looking forward to returning to this magical place.
Many thanks Janko

The room is a little too small, while on the other hand, the bathroom of the same room is large and excellent.
Breakfast is delicious.
Dinner was solid, with the exception of an appetizer called vegetable carrpatio (thinly sliced celery, carrots and zucchini), which a goat, for example, would surely like. Although the chef could certainly ask for some advice from the Croatian chefs regarding the preparation of mussels on the buzara, so that the sauce is not so watery.
The spa area is nothing special, but it is especially irritating to see small children in the area with saunas, because they obviously don't belong there, at least that's how other hotels work.
In conclusion, nothing special. I can only praise the employee at the reception, who was extremely kind and accommodating.

Calm and quiet town with Magnesium springs and thermals.
Calm and quiet town with Magnesium springs and thermals. There are many chances to take cheap and quality accommodation with food. Good place for old people or those who is looking for escape from noisy environment. If you traveling with kids, you have to find hotel/apartments with swimming pool or other activities bcs there is nothing for kids in the town. If summarize: good calm place to spend couple days on the half way to or from the sea shore and relax.

If you have health issues - this place is the best.
If you have health issues - this place is the best. If you are a tourist looking for some relaxation, this place with its surroundings is actually nothing special. Don't be surprised, Russians are quite fanatic about spa-tourism and you will be greeted in Russian, because vast majority of guests (outside the health resort which looks like a huge hospital) are Russians. If you know Russian, you will be amazed by the beautiful Russian-Slovenian-Styrian accent the locals speak, some sort of a Slavic Esperanto - Rogaska is actually a linguistics heaven! We named this language Russvenian and it should be included in Slovenian "Pravopis" as the 65th Slovenian dialect.

I absolutely love the place! Room was very clean and spacious, the view is stunning, breakfast is very good. Host Zofija is so friendly and nice. I especially love the patio - amazing. This was our stop for the night but we will definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful ambient for couple days. It is a hidden gem. :)
Breakfast was very good; location perfect (close to train station and spas); the room was small but nice and bright, with a high ceiling and a lovely balcony; everything was very clean, neat and tidy; furnishings in the hotel are old fashioned but very well maintained; the owners are very nice, friendly people.
This is an elegant hotel that feels like home. It is as cozy as it is tailored, as hospitable as it is polished. We had a basic room that felt every bit of luxury.
Every detail is carefully appointed and thoughtful. The hotel has a wonderful chef and every meal is excellent.
Nice location, next to the other hotels. Particularly enjoyed the vicinity of a nearby hill for morning trail runs. The wellness facilities were clean with very few people. They offer a variety of different saunas and pool. Especially try the Russian sauna outside.
Location of the hotel was great, plenty of things to do, from swiming and relaxing to walking in the beatiful nature.
Particularly enjoyed organised train trip to Olimje, highly recommended. Facilities and food, all was great!
This was our second stay at Vita center apartments and everything was perfect again! Super kind, friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, fantastic yoga and exercise space, dreamlike landscapes...
We had an lovely experience and hotel and everything that comes with it was perfect. There are many variations for breakfast and dinner and we were not disappointed.
The 3 bedroom apartment was very comfortable. Hosts welcomed us with a bottle of wine, also had good information to share inclusive of good places to eat.
