We had a lovely staying here. The apartment is cosy and friendly, everything is designed to make you feel like home. The location is fantastic, Grega & Anja are wonderful hosts, they helped us with everything, from information about best places to see, to best places to eat or tips and tricks about hiking routes around, The surroundings are breathtaking, you have dozens of options to enjoy spectacular mountain views, great hiking tracks, lakes and waterfalls.

Beautiful village with some excellent places to eat. There is a good supermarket where you can get fresh rolls every morning. It’s a lot quieter and cheaper than the more touristy areas such as Bled but you do really need a car.

Small vilage but with the basics availiable (supermarket , restaurant , take away ) . You are in great place to explore the near by walking trails like Kranjska Gora or cycling around . The place is small but if you like the outdoors , is perfect for exploring the area . Nice also if you just want to relax . Close to the highway , so easy access by car to the lakes or Ljubljiana

Lovely place with excellent resorts, so many things of different variety to do, well organized transport to the nearby destinations of interest, clean well organised. However I have a suggestion that the owners, especially the owne of Lukna hostel should take some seminars and trainings about dealing with visitors especially in crucial moments or in case problems of any kind appear, because it is not only the facilities you offer to the visitors but the behavior and the treatment of your guests. I would visit Mojstrana again but I would never book the Lukna Hostel again. The owner is arrogant and looking down at the visitors now matter the excellent facilities it offers,

Mojstrana is after Bohinj my favorite place in Slovenia.
Mojstrana is after Bohinj my favorite place in Slovenia. Although it gets very cold in winters (only Dovje - villige opposite to Mojstrana has enough sun in winter), it is the perfect get-away from city life...If you love nature and mountains and love hiking or just walking (with or without kids) this is the best place to visit all year around...

Nice little village in the Triglav National Park that can serve as a perfect base for hiking routes, roadtrips, etc. It's got its own supermarket and pizza place - no bars or other amenities like that though. All in all it is perfect for nature lovers and lovers of peace and quiet in an astounding location.
