the stay was amazing! the house is built entirely out of wood, with an impeccable attention to detail. modern facilities, great outdoor space at the edge of the forest, sauna and jacuzzi in perfect functioning condition! the hosts were present and provided organic, regional breakfast produce. was perfect. 30 min by car to Ljubljana.

Andrej met us when we got there and promptly showed us the bee house. He also gave us a nice tour of his apiary. He was a gracious host and allowed us the use the kitchenette in the garage of the main house to make our dinner. Their dog Rachel is super sweet and kept us company. Sleeping in the bee house was amazing! The hum and the smell make you want to drift off to sleep. It was beautifully kept and well appointed. My wife got a honey massage while we were there, and it was obvious he takes great care in doing a good job. Couldn't have hoped for a nicer experience!

Basically you are getting a whole floor of well maintained personal villa. You have:
- 1 spacious bedroom for 2 person,
- optionally a second bedroom with 2 separated beds - perfect for a family with children,
- a living room
- a kitchen next to it, with fridge, oven utensils and s.o.
- a very new and modern bathroom.
The place is cozy, clean and warm - it was -6 to -9°C outside, but we were good in a T-shirt and heating was nowhere near full power.
A very good homestay, I don't think you can get anything better for that money.

We slept wonderfully during our stay. Quiet area with a beautiful view of the countryside. Veronika was very helpful and kind; check-in instructions were clear and simple. Free parking was a plus. Updated furnishings and nice extras like laundry detergent and softener for our use. It was great to have a washing machine to do laundry in the middle of our vacation. The sturdy rack was convenient for hanging all of our outerwear and bags.
