The host is very friendly and accomodating. The beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast was great, plentiful and with various options (eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, fruit, jams, coffee, juice...). The location of the object was ideal for our ski trip to Krvavec (less than 15min away from the gondola by car) and the village it's located in is quiet and peaceful.

Simona made our stay truly magical. We got care that we have never experienced anywhere else. She was always available she prepared extremely tasty breakfast and dinner for us and helped us with everything. I didn't think there was such a level of professional care that a host could provide. We loved every minute of it despite the bad weather. Extremely extremely highly recommended place!

The location being close to the airport was a key factor in our planning. However, I would consider staying at the Grad Strmol on future trips both on arriving as well as on departure. It was fabulous.

The town is not far from the Julian Alps and from Ljubljana.
The town is not far from the Julian Alps and from Ljubljana. Even Postojna or the seaside towns can be visited from Cerklje. There is a good skiing slope in the vicinity. I recommend this town for summer and winter holidays as well.

I don’t know the last time I spent two hours enjoying a meal with my husband. We had to leave early in the morning for the airport and the stuff prepared to to go boxes with small sandwiches, fruit, and a drink for our journey. That was very thoughtful. It was nice that the hotel was just a few minutes away from the airport but you didn’t feel like you were at a hotel near the airport. Looked like a postcard! Staff was very friendly, informative and accommodating. We have a family of 5 and everyone had a bed. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was amazing!! We arrived at the airport in less than 6 minutes:) We will definitely return the next time we are flying out of Ljubljana.

The location is beautiful, surrounded by mountains with lots of hiking trails around. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and welcomes you very warmly and are very attentive. The rooms are very clean. The lunch/dinner and breakfast were very good! Definitely recommend this place.
