The hotel situated in the very center, 3-4 walk distance from the bus station, what is highly appreciated. No electronic key, they give you huge key, so you have to return it to the reception every time you going out-)

Spa and pool were so nice :) STaff excellent. Breakfast was really really nice to sit and look out the big windows at the Portuguese countryside. Fancier then we normally stay in but got winter rates.

The location is very good, near the Polytechnic where I was with the job, being also near the city center by foot. Very clean, each day the towels were changed, also the view to the castle from the restaurant was amazing.

The location is reasonably good, it's a short walk to a Lidl store, bus stops, and a McDonald's nearby. The staff are extra friendly, which made the stay much more comfortable. I also loved the cleaning lady who was very talkative despite not knowing English and us not speaking Portuguese. She even hugged us goodbye!
The room was quite clean, I give them that!
I also appreciate the parking — there are spots available on a few side streets, and if your view is on the castle (magnificent), you can also keep an eye on the car.

Leiria has a nice historic center which is worth a walk.
Leiria has a nice historic center which is worth a walk. It also has a beautifully landscaped area around the river along its entire length. Pleasant cafes and restaurants (Street R. Dr. Correia Mateus is full of great restaurants). You can spend 2-3 beautiful days here, a week seemed too long to me. It has good and frequent transport connections, a bus station right in the center. It was 50 minutes by bus to Nazaré.

A great quiet old town with lots of places of interest (of historical significance), museums, exhibitions, archaeological excavation sites, galleries, etc. There is a lot of well-preserved historical architecture either, manifesting the vein of 'Old Europe'. Lots of parks for a walking and hiking, equipped with bicycle tracks, old gothic-stylish cemetery. For those who may be longing for 'civilisation' (as I usually do either) there is a huge Leiria Shopping centre with everything needed. As well as there's Lidl (or two) in the city. Worth visiting either for short vacation or as a place of historic sightseeing.

We stayed in Leiria for 3 nights, which was about right. It is a working town with a flowing river, a nice old quarter, a few good value restaurants, and an imposing castle. Take a local bus to visit the monastery/church of Batalha

Small and cozy city with everything I need in walkable distances (for walk lovers. Amazing food places like Adega das Francesinhas with view to the Castle if you have the luck to have a free table outside.
My first and most important reason for loving Hotel Sao Luis was its excellent cleaning. There was a good smell to the bed linen and it was super clean.
I liked breakfast also. Various food items were provided, and the quality and quantity of the food were good. They refilled things so that those who arrived late also had everything they needed.
Receptionists are friendly and helpful.
The Hotel Sao Luis has parking, so it is an excellent choice for those traveling by car.
I loved our stay there and I recommend them.
The hotel is in a great location. We were house hunting around Leiria and found it to be very central. The rooms are large with fabulous spa baths and nice views. we have stayed in four different rooms (over two visits, the first we booked night by night as we were unsure if we would need to change location) and all the rooms have been great. Breakfast is varied, plentiful and very nice. The staff are absolutely amazing. They are so friendly and are really the icing on the cake. We will certainly be back.
Location was great if your staying to explore Leiria. Right across the street from the river walk, many restaurants and cafes just steps away. A playground across the street was nice for the kids. Free parking on site. Staff was available 24/7. Our accommodations was like a 2 bedroom apartment, more than enough for a family of four. Rooftop pool was very nice. Photo is from the hotel roof.
The property was very clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Has a tiny kitchen, nice wardrobe to place your clothes and belongings, and private free parking slot. The location is great, walking distance to Leiria city attractions. The communication with the manager is the best possible, very easy! Thank you so much for having us!
The perfect stay in Leiria.
Starting with the hosts, they are simply great.
The house is very cozy, with all that you may need and in just a short walk to the city center.
It was also spotless clean.
Won't be looking for any other place to stay in the future
The staff was very nice. We had check-in rather late and the one night had to return to the hotel during the night hours. They were all very accepting and nice to us. The room was sufficient for the stay. Not the biggest room, but normal for Leiria.
The house was big, very clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The views and surroundings were beautiful and it only took a quick 5-7 minutes drive to Leiria. Victor was welcoming and friendly and gave us a tour of the house. Would recommend.
The owner and staff are extremely nice and go the extra mile to make their customers happy, and having all the animals in the property's park is a joy. Very nice place, 100% I'd suggest to everyone a relaxing getaway in this hotel!
The staff were friendly, and the common spaces are nice. The internet works without any problems. From the Hostel to the Historic Center of Leiria it's just a 10-minute walk. And from there you must go up to the Castle.
A small hotel with a very popular restaurant. Well situated for day trips to the monasteries and the coast.
Offstreet parking in a pleasant pool area make for an enjoyable stay.
It's an Ibis hotel, so it's pretty decent. It looks like it is favoured by Portuguese business travellers, so I guess "basic but quite reasonable" is the best description.
