The property was extremely clean and had fantastic views from their breakfast area. It was also close to the city centre. The surrounding area felt safe and friendly. All the staff and especially the manager Richard Cruz Castro were exceptionally helpful and friendly during our stay. Always accommodating. They also serve coca tea to help adjust to the altitude which was extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious. It was also the most comfortable bed.

Although it's considered the oldest inhabited city of the Americas and Peru's historical capital, neither of these truly describes the magic enchantment and colorful people of Cuzco. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its current shape is the colonial result of building on top of many Incan sites, a good example of which is the Cathedral of Santo Domingo.
Must-see places include the walled complex of Sacsayhuamán and the remains of the main temple of Coricancha, dedicated to the Sun God, Inti. For longer Cuzco stays, hotels nePlaza de Armas central square are ideal to fully enjoy the city. Due to its 11,150-foot altitude, some Cuzco hotels offer oxygen to help their guests.
Moray, supposedly an ancient experimental agricultural station, is 29 miles away, and Lake Titicaca is 240 miles away. The road to Machu Picchu is the famous Inca Trail or "Camino Inca," which encompasses settlements, different Andean environments, and many Incan ruins.
Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport offers services to Lima. Arriving at Wanchaq Train Station or Terminal Terrestre de Cusco bus station are also popular choices. Come to visit the ancient jewel, enjoy Peru and Cuzco with the hotel deals available on Booking.com!
Getting around Cusco was easy. We are walkers and we love to see the typical markets and amazing museums. Its people are friendly and helpful. Any question was answered when we just ask anyone around. Restaurants? Mother of God! Delicious, too many options to choose from. From simple restaurants to fancy ones and the best: beautiful women in the street with cooked corn and pineapple slices to sale.

Cusco is one of my favorite cities in Peru.
Cusco is one of my favorite cities in Peru. It is a photographers dream, almost every you look there is a chance to take a wonderful travel photo while walking around, the old city is an absolute joy. No mater how long I have stayed in Cusco it has been too short and I always want to return to see things I have missed. However, it is a good idea to book a hotel which offers heat in the rooms as it can get rather chilly at night in the cold season.

It´s one of the most beatiful cities I've visited. I love the landscape view, people is very kind and it has a lot of activities to do. I stay in Cusco a very short time, but I enjoy it as much as I could. I visited San Blas viewpoint, the Church and Rainbow Mountain, but my favorite place without no doubt was Machu Picchu.

I've been to Cusco several times over the past 25 years and...
I've been to Cusco several times over the past 25 years and also lived here for longer periods and for work. It's always been a hub as there is so much to see and do in and around town. Plan a week there, and you won't be bored. It's a buzzing place, there is such an abundance to choose from (tours, trips, hikes, walks, ruins, accommodation, markets, souvenirs and of course destinations like Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail), it's almost too much. You can do parties and clubs, or enjoy the quiet places, walk the ruins up the hills in nature with stunning views of high cordilleras the beautiful Andean scenery and enjoy the peacefulness in the company of some lamas and alpacas. I found that post-Covid the locals are still struggling with the lack of tourism. Nowadays the markets are better organised and have mainly been moved to indoor facilities over the past decades, tourists often don't know about them, e.g. in Pisac, and the locals suffer from few clients and low business. The regulations around Machu Picchu are ridiculous and overpriced; while it's good some rules are in place to deal with the amount of tourism, it has taken all the joy out of visiting the ruins. There are plenty of equally great alternatives though, if you find MP too expensive, don't want to plan half a year in advance or simply don't enjoy the crowds, go to Pisac instead, walk the full hike, or Choquequirao if you want a multi-day experience. For long timei travellers: if you have time, you can easily stay here for a month exploring the Valle Sagrado, get fit in the altitude, learn about local crafts, food, culture, history, Spanish etc.. After a while, it always feels healthy to leave Cusco again. Safe travels!

This appears to be a family business. Every single person was beyond friendly and extremely helpful since the moment we stepped in. The breakfast was made with much care, the room was spacious, had beautiful decor, and spotless clean. They gave us a map with all the main attractions and took the time to explain everything, what opens when, etc.. It's close to all the main attractions, but not located on a busy street so you're not bothered in your sleep. We stayed for 3 nights, and this hotel was the perfect ending to our Peru trip!
This is a great hotel in the San Blas area and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the people so much that we extended our stay to 8 days. The rooms are perfect - very clean and well-furnished. The lobby is also a comfortable place to settle in and read a book while you drink tea or coffee.
There are lots of nice restaurants in the San Blas area. That said, you will get some good exercise walking down to the Plaza de Armas. If someone had walking difficulty it is possible that the San Blas area would not be their first choice.
Ivan greeted me with mate de coca (a tea that helps with the altitude). The owner, Juan Carlos was extremely helpful. Tatiana prepared us an amazing breakfast in the morning with everything you could ever ask for (breakfast included in the price). The hotel and room were extremely clean and all COVID protocols were followed. The balcony has an amazing view over Cusco. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to San Blas and less than another 5 to the Plaza de Armas. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
This is our best stay during 11 days trip in Peru, even some of them are more expensive than MOAF. The staffs are super nice and attentive. We stayed one night before heading to Machu Picchu and another night after we came back from Machu Picchu. They took good cared of our luggage and went beyond our expectations. I even got a small handcrafted gift when I left. Highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Cusco. It’s located in the center of the historic district but it’s very quiet in the hotel.
The best hotel in Cusco, is hands down, Antigua Casona. It is situated in the best area of Cusco, in the amazing old town centre, near to great spots for enjoying Peruvian cuisine. The hotel itself offers great dining opportunities in its lovely restaurant. Staff was amazing but what really blew our minds was the rooms, that offered luxury and modern notes while keeping the Peruvian style at its best. Great job, its not by luck the most wanted hotel in the area.
Very comfortable and new place. The hotel is essentially newly built so everything inside is new. They have a great terrace where there is a cafe and a great view of Cusco. The food is great, especially fruit salad for every recommendation. All the staff working at the hotel are very kind and willing to help and that is what gives that hotel a high rating. They even provided us with oxygen in the bottle for free due to difficulties in acclimatization.
Large room with furniture to unpack your things and a bedside table with lamp. Christian is very friendly and helpful and stored our luggage while we did the Choquequirao trek. There's a kettle for making tea and coffee during the day. The laundry service was good and very reasonably priced. The hotel is located in San Blas, a great part of Cusco, on a pretty street with lots of good restaurants nearby.
We loved that the hotel was far enough away from the “hustle and bustle” of the main square but close enough that it was very walkable - about a 10 min walk down. The San Blas area where the hotel is located has lots of great gems for food and shopping.
We also enjoyed breakfast with many options. The room was large, beautifully decorated and beds were very staff were courteous and helpful.
Everything was perfect! The cleanliness and professionalism is too good. Much more than a 5 star hotel. Loved everything, the huge room with comfy beds, lovely room service and the decor is amazing. If you want a comfortable stay, this hotel is the one. My daughter left something behind and they quickly organised to send it by taxi to the airport. Cannot commend enough!
This hotel is located in the San Blas neighborhood which is a great location for exploring Cusco. The area was super quiet and close to coffee shops, restaurants, and art galleries. The garden area was perfect for watching the sun set over the city and it was very safe. They helped arrange a car to bring us to the airport in the morning and we really enjoyed our stay there.
Stunning view from the bed. Try to get the room with a view, it is breathtaking to look above Cusco. San Blas is definitely the best location to stay in Cusco! We loved it! Breakfast is very fresh and delicious. At night the even snugged a hot-water bottle under our blankets. Nice suprise. Very clean and cozy Hotel. We loved our stay!
The owner, Zuzan, was helpful and kind. She made the best breakfast out of all the hotels I've stayed at in Peru. We communicated via translator app and she understood my needs immediately. Her house is located close to the city and offers a quiet rest at night. I was able to walk to San Pedro market within 10 minutes in the morning.
Great stay, comfortable and clean hotel.
This was a perfect place to land after a long flight to Peru.
The staff were very helpful and polite. Traveling alone I felt very safe. I found this place quiet for a great nights sleep and close enough to the main square to visit without the need for a taxi.
Cute hotel in a pretty cool area of Cusco (San Blas), definitely recommended! Rooms are big, well equipped and so nicely decorated, bathroom facilities are new, hot shower is working. I slept so well in the bed!
Good breakfast option, not to say how kind, cheerful and positive is the staff!!
The hotel is beautiful with excellent views of Cusco and the surrounding hillsides. The wooden balconies and walkways are also beautiful and warm. The location is perfect right in the heart of the San Blas district and close to the Plaza de Armas.
We ended up being in a deluxe family room which was amazing - huge comfy bed, smart TV and lots of space. The hotel felt luxury and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Peru (buffet with four additional cooked options to choose from).
Everything was great! Delicious breakfast served every morning. Charming colonial hotel with great views from our room of San Blas and Christ the Redeemer. We really appreciated the hard work and excellent service provided by Pearcy and Max!
Very charming hotel in San Blas with good location, just 10 minutes walking to the main square, restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Well decorating rooms, friendly and attentive staff. We definitely recommended!
it’s in the San blas district which is very cool, and it’s very close to the old city center. the staff is very friendly and helpful too. the hotel itself is very nice, colorful and clean.
