From someone working in the industry, I must say that this is a very solid choice and hotel in the area. I did a lot of research and there are not many hotels in Snaefellsnes, mostly guesthouses. This is a fantastic choice but if you go there with the expectation of a 5 start hotel, you will be disappointed. As a small guesthouse close to the mountains and total quietness in the area, it's absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is small but absolutely sufficient. The price-value-ratio is spot on. We enjoyed it very much and I can only recommend it to anyone thinking of going there.

The hotel was really nice, as well as the staff and we had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. It is also quite nicely located near the sea with a nice view. If you are going around the Snaefellsnes peninsula, it is a great place to stay.

The surroundings were amazing, one of the best views you can imagine. Perfect location on the shore of the lake looking at the mountains. The guesthouse is well-equipped, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking and there is sufficient number of showers and toilets.
