Linda at the reception went out of her way to help us with all the questions that we had. She gave us great recommendations, both local attractions and restaurants.
The room was clean and comfortable. The property also had multiple spa/sauna facilities that helped us relax and wind down for the day. Highly recommend to other travellers.

The location was good, a walking distance to the train station, the town centre and the the lake. There are a few decent restaurants nearby as well. The breakfast was fine (especially if you are a meat eater and don't mind the ubiquitous fruit flies), with surprisingly good coffee. Having access to the pool was nice, although it was closed on Sunday with no explanation. The decor and the overall feel was quite old-fashioned.

The house is located in a quite area, within a 5-minute walk to the historic center and a 10-15-minute walk to Balaton Lake. The the interior of the house is absolutely charming, capturing a certain vintage style that adds to the experience, as is suits the aesthetic of the town. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. They don't serve breakfast, but there is a kitchen where you can prepare everything you need. Moreover the price is very good for what the guesthouse offers. Lastly, I would like to thank our host who helped us with everything we needed and offered us additional information about the town and its sights. We will clearly stay here next time we visit Keszthely!

There is nothing to see, just Balaton lake. But, for us that was the reason to come since we wanted to avoid any outside activities. Just wanted to do be in the hotel and enjoy in SPA! Will come back for sure!

Keszthely is well worth the trip.
Keszthely is well worth the trip. It has an historical town centre, more than one beach, a stately home with interesting museums including a fabulous model railway facility and the beautiful gardens are free to stroll through or sit on one of the many available benches. There were plenty of eating places, which are reasonably priced and the area is well serviced by buses and trains.

This is a tourist town, but not as crowded as those on the south of the lake. It is advertised as a medieveal town but there was little sign of this. However, it was a pleasant place to be with good beches, and the restaurants were OK if you chose carefully.

An unexpectably charming town on lake Balaton.
An unexpectably charming town on lake Balaton. There are some amazing parks, the whole town is very clean and full of flowers. People are friendly and many speak at least some English or German. Not all restaurants are open in October, but there are many places where you can taste amazing local foods. The place is a heaven for people who love museums, and the church and the castle are breathtaking. If you like cycling or water sports then you will find many interesting activities by the lake where you can also find a Ferris wheel and see the town from a little different perspective.

Nice and cosy town located far away (by European scales)...
Nice and cosy town located far away (by European scales) from big cities. Good place to have a rest and enjoy the Balaton lake with a family and kids. All beaches are in very good conditions and are not very deep. So, it may be even a problem to swim for adults)
Have you no kids you may also find a lot of attractions in and around the city: palaces, small streets and restaurants in the old city center, castels, souvenir markets, local wineries, thermal batches.
Perfect clean apartman with everything you need. Agatha lady whi takes care about us explained all what needed. She speaks English and German. I recommend it for trip. Close to road is a little bit dissadvantage but during night silent, no issue. Beach 20 min. by walk. City centre 10 min, castle and exhibitions. Rooms with central clima, no needed this time, beds very very confortable. Really very good sleeping. Very satisfied.
Super unique and luxurious apartment located right in the centre of the plaza, panoramic view in the room. We stayed in winter so having the Jacuzzi and sauna was an amazing experience. The hotel only has one room and is run by a family, they were all super friendly and helpful. They have a cafe downstairs and also there was a very good restaurant in the plaza called Klassz Kultbisztró. Great experience overall.
Location close to the "Libás Strand" beach, in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is really spacious, we were 4 friends staying there, but can accommodate more people. There is a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a central living room with a terrace, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The center of Keszthely is about 15mins walk away. Good value for the price.
Beautiful location, very private and quiet, close to the beaches. The apartment was nice, with a clean modern design. It has a terrace with a beautiful view of the lake and the sailboats. The owner was nice and flexible with the check in, as we arrived late, after the reception time. She also gave us very clear information about the location.
Responsive and friendly staff; good value
If you arrive without a car, you'll need to walk a bit to get to the next beach ( ~ 10 min) or to the train station ( ~ 25 min). The city center is roughly a half-an-hour walk away, and there are great places to eat within this distance. A grocery shop is nearby.
Beautiful villa in a quiet part of the town, close to the old city center, castle and lake Balaton. Everything is in walking distance. Place is very cozy, beautifully decorated, with a nice kitchen if you want to cook, although trying out local dishes in lovely restaurants is definitely a must.
The hotel is new and clean. I liked the wellness zone and the location of the hotel. The playground and animation for kids is great. The "watch" instead of cards used to unlock the doors is a nice and practical improvement. There was a lot of outside parking and the food was great.
This is a very good choice for a stay in Keszthely. Location is down a quiet side-street, but literally 2 min walk from the main pedestrian walkway with restaurants, cafes and so. Appartment is clean, well equipped, with spacious dining area. Friendly host! Safe parking provided.
Very decent place with a nice terrace. Hosts are welcoming. Apt is very clean with a good air conditioner. Location is rather good - the supermarket and beach (good one) is quite close, but we ended up going there by car anyway (kids walk slow especially when it is hot).
Great location in the heart of Keszthely. The host welcomed us at the door and provided us with the keys and all the information we may have needed. The rooms were cozy and clean with wifi and a small fridge. The attached bathroom was also clean and in working order.
We enjoyed staying at the house, the rooms were fully equipped and the host was lovely and helpful. The location was quiet and close to the beach, restaurants, downtown. The yard was beautiful and relaxing. Everything was great!!!
The lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly. She showed us around the hotel upon arrival. Possibility to store our bikes in locked enclosure was a big advantage. Breakfast was tasty and varied.
Apartment was clean. The kitchen has everything that you need to prepare a meal. Bed is very comfortable. Apt is located 5 min walk from helikon beach which is great.
