The apartment was really spacious and had a feel of home from home. As it’s above a pub the floors weren’t straight but that added to the feel of the rooms.

The cottages was very nice clean and presentable, however the bed was not very good. Toilet handle wasn't the best, so that needed fixing. But overall the cottage was nice. However after paying for breakfast, I was completely disappointed. Firstly the breakfast is buffet style, OK no big problem, yet it seems they just cooked everything for breakfast for the amount of people who were having breakfast. And just left out under hot lamps, which is not a good thing as breakfast starts from 7.30am so I booked for 8.30am, and you can tell it had been sat there for a while.scrambled eggs crusting over and spliting which I would have thought that being an establishment of quality these should have been made at least the correct way. Coffee machine on the fritz so only half cups. Everything about breakfast was just barely not even warm, so very disappointed the only good thing about the breakfast was the little individual packets of butter. Now it was not the most expensive breakfast I've paid for, but I could certainly get better out of dobbies garden centre. The day of my check in there was a wedding so no bar no restaurant so had to go out to the local pub, which was recommended by the very nice young lady on reception. Over all very disappointing.

Perfect about sums it up.

The cottage is tucked away but well worth the little detour.

The setting and location was lovely.
The setting and location was lovely. However the accommodation wasn’t great for my mother who is 87. The cottage was advertised as having 2 bathrooms but it had only 1 and that was downstairs. Not great for an elderly person! Stairs also a bit tricky. Make sure you get directions from jennie as the cottage is hard to find. Don’t go to Wollaston! Would go back but not with elderly relatives.
