The location is just beautiful. The cabins were right across Loch Lochy. We sat and looked at the loch all day thru our window/ balcony. We booked a cottage and it was just perfect. Since we had a dog, there was a goodie bag for the dog in the cottage with treats, a ball and some poop bags. This was a great touch to the stay. Breakfast was really good. There were lots of board games available at the cottage. We ordered food from the restaurant and they delivered at the cottage. The presence of a spa at the property is also a brilliant addition. Overall, if you are staying here, you don't have to go anywhere else during your stay and can just relax at the property itself.

The location was ideal, beautiful gardens, and a great view of the mountains.Handy for nearby restaurants, parking onsite, yet lovely and quiet. The room had everything anyone could possbly want for a short stay and Teresa, the owner was great, very friendly, couldn't do enough for us and her other guests and the breakfast was great, with different choices from full Scottish to other options, and cooked to order.
Lovely village with several B&B properties but book early!
Lovely village with several B&B properties but book early! The only restaurant in town was the Old Station Restaurant. Really excellent food and ambiance but again bok early - its the only place we found to eat in the evening.

We didn't really visit Spean Bridge since we wanted to see Glenfinnan, hike around the lochs and go to the beach at Mallaig. But it seemed nice and quiet. And Spean Lodge was a piece of heaven so we didn't really want to leave when we were back :)

Spean Bridge is a pretty little place with some stunning walks and scenery. The shop has everything you need for your stay and there is also a Post office. There wasn't a huge selection of places to eat or drink and some were closed when we were there but it was probably just the time of year and we ventured into Fort William which has plenty of choice to eat and drink.

Beautiful Small Village tucked away from the Hussle and bustle. Quite and Peaceful area. Mai Bus root to Fort William and surrounding area's.
Locals are so helpful and supportive, specially, i was waiting for a bus to turn up for a while when a beautiful lady turned up and asked me if i was okay as she had noticed me being waiting at bus stop quite a while.

It's a good place to explore the area.
It's a good place to explore the area. Spean Bridge itself is tiny, but has one excellent restaurant at the Old Station. There are some other places but they are only open until 4 or 5, so I did not visit those. For additional options, you'd have to take a 15-minute drive to the next town over (Fort William).
My hotel - Highland Bridge Hotel - has a pub attached that was frequented every night by the locals. So there is a place to hang out if you must.
Overall a good location to explore the Scottish countryside. Considering everywhere you have to go will take you an hour, it isn't so bad you're basically 15 minutes out of town.

We felt safe and secure in our accommodation.
We felt safe and secure in our accommodation. Felt intimidated by locals who got angry with us for not breaking the speed restrictions and we were not alone that felt this! Not much to do in the actual village itself but is a good base to venture out, the b and b we stayed in though was a pleasure to come home to - Braelea, run by Margaret. A fabulous lady with knowledge for days out. We are in restaurants recommended by Margaret.
We dont generally stay in B+B's but the welcome and space in this huge house in Spean bridge made it feel like home. We were even picked up from the trail by the owner saving us a three mile walk or waiting hours for a bus. We also got a lift to a restaurant for dinner !
A huge quiet room very comfortable bed, everything you needed in there and a wonderful breakfast. Friendly hosts, everything you could want for a good price.
Smiddy House deserves more than 2 AA Stars. Exceptional place to stay. Extremely clean and very thoughtful of any amenity a traveler might need. The food at Russels Restaurant deserves a Michelin Rating and is priced fairly moderately. The hosts are the best by far! Robert makes you feel like an old friend just came for a visit. Smiddy House isn’t just a place to stay, it’s an experience.
10/10 for the host. Karin was amazing; friendly, nice, and chatty. Room is small but has everything it needs.
A nice benefit is the pub in the same building with reasonably priced drinks; here you can watch sports with the locals and it's quite busy on Friday night, but I didn't hear any of it after going to bed.
Hotel in a very quiet location. Dinner may be served upon request.
Amazing Breakfast. Absolutely superb. And courtesy of staff was simply 5 star.
This place is not for a luxury holiday where you can stay in a hotel and enjoy the hotel.
this is very simple, good for sleeping type hotel.
But very good restaurant. and ample parking space.
value for money.
Enjoyed hearing all the information on the Kings and Queens of England and Scotland. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was pleasant. The location was very convenient to Spean Bridge and Fort William. The room was comfortable and it was nice to have tea and cookies provided.
The views are incredible, and the location is excellent. Host were helpful throughout the stay. There was loads of information provided by the host which made life much easier, speak bridge has some nice places to eat and a short taxi ride gets you to Fort William with even more choice.
The chalet gave us exactly what we needed - the beds were comfy, the shower was fab and the amount of space was just right. The location is perfect for exploring a really beautiful part of the world! Only a short drive to Fort William where the restaurants were fabulous for families.
very warm and cosy, great location for exploring and walking, only 14 minutes to fort William and a further 10 to Glen Coe.
great hosts who supplied everything you needed from some drinks to snacks and breakfast items to get you started.
Will return here next year for sure
The location was stunning, loved the approach on the road with views across to Ben Nevis road. Near to Fort William, Glencoe. Nice restaurants nearby, The Old Station and Whispering Pines were lovely. There was enough space for two couples comfortably. Very, very clean.
Amazing place, amazing friendly service, food to die for and plenty of it, comfortable beds and pillows, immaculate and couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend the dinner B&B. Currently for sale and this place is a gem. The current owners will be a massive loss to the area.
The location was lovely and quiet, Simon and Morven were excellent hosts, so welcoming, the room was spotless and the recommendation for the Station Restaurant was great, breakfast was as good as it gets, a wonderful stay.
GORGEOUS view of the mountains, and the garden on the home was beautiful. Short walk to a restaurant, lovely home and breakfast was fabulous. Everything you could want in a B&B, would absolutely stay again.
Location was brilliant really accessible for Ben Nevin and Fort William. The views from the apartment were gorgeous with views of Ben Nevis. Owner Alistair met us when we arrived and was really friendly
Perfect location for our kids (8 & 3). Playground opposite the front door, fully kitted out kitchen, Netflix for the kids and a short drive to Fort William.
