Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and good last minute resort
Gravesend has deteriorated over the years. It is not worth visiting. The restaurants are few and far. I can recommend a superb local pub named the Compass: great beer and great company. Gravesend is not worth visiting (unfortunately). The last time I was there wad 1982 and it was a thriving market town but now …

Gravesend is a typical declining British town.
Gravesend is a typical declining British town. The high Street is poor, there are 2 shopping centres that you can go round in literally 5 minutes. If it wasn't for the fact that we have family connections there, we wouldn't bother with the place.

Very nice small town with a beautiful promanade next to the river. Nice view on the river with the green area and benches that you can sit on them and relax. For short visit/weekend it's absloutely fine. For longer can be boring.

A great location, the reception lady was good, the lunch option was poor, and the area was cold but the lady on reception brought a heater which was very good.
Have evening meal but there was a lady with a dog that continuously barking . We left and went to our room. Tv could be bigger very small.
This is a budget level and affordable hotel and was reasonably priced and the review is given in this context..
Good location for what I needed close enough to the town centre. Staff were extremely helpful as I was unwell and changed my room to a spare ground floor level room so I wouldn't need to negotiate any stairs.I liked the fact there was a microwave In the room and all the necessary cutlery and plates & bowls which came in handy for me. The room had a very good shower. The room was more than adequately sized.
Good value for money, closer to a 4 star hotel than a 3 star hotel. Having stayed in a different hotel every day over the last week, one of the biggest issues I've found is finding a quiet room. During my entire stay, I don't think I heard a single noise outside my room, making it very easy to relax. Staff were proactive and made sure not to keep you waiting. Free off-road parking.
Location good for access from M25/A2, and to visit Medway area. Drove to Bluewater Shopping Centre for change of food choice from the on site pub. The on site pub was completely satisfactory though. Quiet room requested and delivered. Reception staff always friendly and happy to help. Co-op store open most hours very useful.
Historical Gravesend - a beautiful hotel with fantastic views over the river. Very well appointed apartment with fridge, cooker, dishwasher etc. very comfortable room with sofas and table.
Great value for money.
There was a murmeration of starlings which landed in the horse chestnut outside our window!
Travelled from Norfolk for a local wedding. Location and hotel were chosen for their closeness to the venue we were visiting. Breakfast was really good, room was as expected and the staff were excellent. Evening bar meal was good value for money .
Phantastic place for visiting Kent. Debbie is a brilliant host and very funny. Thanks for everything, especially all the little extras. Hopewell felt like home and is definitely worth a visit. I enjoyed my stay very much.
The apartment is located relatively close to the station and also nearby shops and isn't far to the town centre. It was clean and relatively well maintained and the kitchen had plenty of utensils etc if needed.
The apartment was great, very clean and nicely decorated. We were very comfortable and happy in there. off street parking was great. Lots of room and easy to drive to shops and town. Nice quiet area.
I went to visit Kent and wanted a hotel that would give me access to visit the area. This hotel was above my expectations it has a gorgeous view to the lake and is a wonderful retreat.
