The hotel is in a great location and I did enjoy my stay there for two nights. It is right on the Camino and close to restaurants, groceries and the bus station. The bed was comfortable, it was clean and no traffic noise.

A very friendly and helpful couple runs this Pensión a short walk off the Camino del Norte. The room was small but comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. A good value for an overnight stay.

It is a friendly town of the new and old that honours and celebrates Galician heritage, writers and poets. As a customer in shops, cafés, taverns and restaurants you fell welcome and respected. Taverna Galega - A Lareira, is close to the Albergue and has a special atmosphere, excellent service and fine, daily selection of Pinchos. Pasteleria Ben has mouth-watering pastries and excellent coffee. The Tourist Office is very helpful.Ralph Keith

The staff were all very professional but also very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and fresh, and the insignia stamped on everything—including the monogrammed pillowcases—just added to the joy of our stay. The food in the bar and the dining room was delicious. The price per night was excellent, and the pilgrims discount in the restaurant much appreciated.
