The staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome, they were very caring, open and happy to help with anything. The room was large with a walk-in wardrobe, bath and shower which gave us a lot of space and freedom to use the facilities. The balcony deserves special attention, it was always sunny, warm, cozy and astonishing beautiful. We enjoyed the variety of dishes for breakfast and the opportunity to order a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Everything we tried there tasted fresh and delicious. Overall, our experience was positive and we would recommend it for couples.

Laurence did an amazing job with the property! we stayed in a studio apartment for 3 nights. we didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities like pool and rooftop terrace since we were attending a festival in Marbella! but everything was just so nice. comfortable bed, decor was great, kitchen had what we need and more. there is an absolutely fantastic restaurant close by run by a Dutch woman a named Rita! you have to go! Laurence will tell you about it! will definitely be back to fully stay on the property for a weekend or so hopefully in the next year or so! thank you! Laurence’s dogs and cats are also the best!

This place is nice but the location is very hard to find and drive to. The property has a lovely pool, but we didn't take advantage of it.

Amazing place to stay. Could not fault the place. Stunning views, great location. Private parking within the property. So peaceful and quiet. Comfy beds, tv with English channels, good shower. I recommend Mijas but with certain reservations.
I recommend Mijas but with certain reservations. I remember the town from 50 years ago so maybe I'm biased. It has managed to keep a certain amount of charm but in a way has grown too large for its own good. In my opinion there are too many souvenir shops and too many below standard restaurants/ bars. I had the feeling that I was a commodity - certainly not everywhere but enough too blunt the pleasure. The farmhouses that were onced dotted through the hills have been replaced by an urban sprawl & even the odd gated community. A pity - I leave with very mixed feelings

We decided to stay in the Calahonda area because it looked like a good central location to explore. We were pleased with our choice of location because it is central to visit other locations by car. There is an abundance of supermarkets; eateries and places of interest. We would definitely stay in Calahonda again.
Such a beautifully cared for, quiet and clean hotel. It has the classic Spanish look with tiles and warm decor inside, plus the room has all that we needed: spotless bathroom, amazing shower, outlets by the bed, a drinks cooler, plenty of closet space for 2, a comfy bed and a lovely balcony with a glimpse of the ocean! We appreciated the self-check-in process via Booking messages, allowing a flexible arrival time.
For people who love the authentic Pueblo feel and walking to all the shops, you’ll want to stay forever
I visited Back to La Tierra with my mom in mid March, and our stay was beyond our expectations! Marina, the hostess, was such a delight - very kind and super helpful. The studio we lived in was very nice and clean, and the outside space, with a huge garden and a lovely pool area, was just amazing.
For transport we had rented a car which we used a lot visiting Malaga, Mijas pueblo, Fuengirola and for grocery shopping.
Back to La Tierra is a beautiful, quiet, hidden gem and we will definitely come back!
It was nice that the hotel was uphill, out of the city. So it was quiet and had great views over Fuengirola and the sea.
Mijas old town was very close, would recommend visiting. It is a very beautiful white city although a little more expensive.
The hotel offered good breakfast with a great variety, not too expensive (12euros per face). The coffee was not to my liking, tasted a bit like cocoa.
Other than that would recommend this hotel. Very beautiful and luxurious, great for couples.
Mijas Residence is an amazing place to stay, beautiful and peaceful location with easy access to Mijas Pueblo or Fuengirola via the regular bus service immediately outside the accommodation. The apartments are very well equipped and are decorated to a very high standard. The pool and bar area provides a perfect place to relax as does the individual terraces. The owners Bas and Deborah are fabulous hosts who did everything to make our stay so perfect
The location was excellent as it was at the heart of Mijas pueblo, we were able to walk around the village without transport and the local bus stop was a 5 minutes walk from the hotel if we wished to explore further afield such as Fuengirola or Torremolinos for a few hours which we did and thought was excellent.
Breakfast was delicious and healthy, it was enough to keep you going until lunch time as the portions were generous!
The hostel was set in quiet side street easy to find and the room we had was perfect every thing was spotless and beds ever so comfortable with a beautiful view looking out over Fuengirola and the sea, we had a well stocked fridge in our room if you wanted a drink and the staff in the morning of checking out was excellent she even looked after our bags for us to take a look around Mijas Pueblo for a couple of hours
Mijas Residence is a beautiful villa that has been split into 6 apartments with the owners living on site. We loved the facilities and the decor and the owners Deborah and Bas went out of their way to ensure we had a fabulous holiday. We were in no6 with a patio and 2 beautiful terraces. Very roomy for 3 adults. We also loved the honesty bar and Deborah's fabulous breakfasts.
Big hotel in the city centre of Mijas Pueblo. The location was perfect for a walk. In December there wasn't a problem with finding free parking slot, but during the high season I would recommend a paid parking.
The staff was helpful and nice, the room tidy and comfortable.
Super cute and comfortable. The casita is well equipped and we were so happy about the BBQer. It’s a lovely, serene and peaceful place. Fantastic views and great location for day trips to Mijas and Fuengirola. Sharon and Kevin are very caring hosts and quick to respond.
Very good location in mijas golf for a mix of work and leisure. Hotel staff were very helpful. Having the spa pool and sauna facilities available was very nice. There was a great view from the balcony and the small included a dishwasher and worked well for us.
A charming hotel built in the andaluz style with lovely outdoor facilities including a fountain and well-maintained gardens. The pool was clean and our rooms were clean and pleasant. Beautiful views. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.
Mijas is a small town built on a hill, from where there is a beautiful view of the entire coast. Accommodation in the La Posada de Mijas was comfortable and appropriate for the price of the stay.
Perfect location for Mijas Pueblo, just a few minutes walk to the centre. The staff were very friendly and the apartment had everything you needed for a few days break.
Fantastic villa in a superb location of mijas pueblo.
The villa is large with multiple spaces for all the family.
Exceptional facilities throughout the property.
The location made Mijas easily walkable plus the
view is amazing. Staff was very friendly and
helpful. Pool was very nice and plenty of breakfast
options.
