The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom facilities were fantastic! We've enjoyed one of the greatest rain showers ever!

Staff very helpful and arranged for us to eat breakfast in the Bar rather than the Restaurant as we had our dog with us. Great Location and we enjoyed a fabulous Indian curry in a Restaurant a short distance away. We have been before in this same Hotel and found that Indian restaurant. Would definitely recommend as a stopover for driving through from France to Spain.

Truly amazing! The super large size suite with a fine decor and well maintained is just great. The host, Romy, went above and beyond to help with anything we needed and during our stay. Big thanks for everything!

Modern, clean, with lots of extras (including a “jaccuzi bath”. Right next to the station, very convenient to get the Topo train to San Sebastián, and 10 minutes from Hondarribia, well worth a visit! We will use again.
It was a little difficult finding somewhere to eat at night.
It was a little difficult finding somewhere to eat at night. There were lots of wine bars, a few Tapas places and fast food areas in the nearby shopping mall. However, a good quality restaurant we couldn't find despite walking around the town for 30 minutes.

Friendly and helpful staff, close proximity to SNCF in Hendaye. Room was adequate in size and very clean. View across the terrace to dilapidated buildings was not exciting. Restaurant clean and efficient with very friendly staff.

Although it was only a one night stop-over there is a little bit more to Irun than we first thought
At the bottom of one of the main streets are the cobbled streets of the old town, with one or two good little cafes and a lovely park

lovely hotel - lovely people [particularly the boss with an excellent sense of humour - mind you, it helps speaking Spanish] - good service - delicious breakfast. We love this hotel!1
Only slightly marred by African/ Arab gentleman begging outside [and occasionally, inside the bar] - constructive suggestion, call the police / kick him out / get rid of him Suggestion to him: Get a job - the rest of us had to!

Loved our stay, left us feeling relaxed, having hot drinks in the room was a bonus and attention to detail was lovely. Walking distance to eat would be a problem for anyone with difficulties but I am sure a taxi wouldn’t be a problem, we found a bar restaurant nearby and the service and food was excellent, would definitely stay again.

We drove to the hotel, our Sat Nav took us straight to the door, we arrived around 3pm so it gave us chance to expire the close surroundings, seems a very busy and vibrant area with lots of shops, and places to eat and drink. We ate in a lovely curry place called 'curry'. The hotel is perfectly situated that you can walk to all these places
Started the Camino in Irún and this was a great location as it is on the Camino. Hotel is a nice older building and it was very clean. place was nicely decorated but since it is an older building, you hear everything. A neighbor checked in late and it woke me up. I heard the guy above wake up early and pack and finally leave by 5 am when it was still dark. so nice place but it can be a bit disruptive. But, several other hotels were far from the route so you have to weigh your options before a difficult first day.
The room was big enough and clean. The bathroom was spacious, clean and warm. We liked the concept of open wardrobes in the room - this way you don't forget anything and everything is visible, kind of perfect for one night stay. Location and price is great - we had a stay in our trip from Spain to France, the hotel is right on the border with France, and on the French side the hotel prices are insane.
Centrally located to join the Camino del Norte, a mile or so from the train station. A short walking distance to two great bakeries/coffeehouses, a wonderful fruit and veggie store, and a fabulous restaurant.
The proprietoress, Ana, was delightful and even did our laundry. The views from the bedrooms were worthy of a painting.
This is a beautiful, well maintained traditional basque house in a central and very elegant neighbourhood of Irun. Our charming hostess, Romy, runs the place efficiently and has all your needs covered. I only wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the suite and the serenity of the location.
This hotel is simply the best I know of when travelling accross Europe. And if you manage to arrive in time to have lunch, the restaurant provides fabulous food and an excellent house rioja wine. The atmosphere in the hotel and restaurant is so good - it is like being at home.
location : in front of a big fuel station for truckers. You could hear the truck leaving early in the morning (05.00 a.m. or even earlier) . We didn't expect much from this hotel, it was just a night during when we were on the road. Good without more.
It was our 2nd stay here and is a perfect stop as we travel from southern Spain to northern France.
Better than a hotel. Very modern apartment and kitchen. Underground parking and very helpful and friendly owners.
Great location to begin the Camino Del Norte. Immaculate and beautifully appointed. Romy is an angel - providing her guests with absolutely everything they need both to enjoy Irun and start the Camino.
The room was very clean. The shower was hot and the shower curtain was clean. 😀The beds were comfortable. It was in a good location close to a train station and at a convenient start of the Camino.
A quiet place near Irun (on the border between France and Spain) and half an hour from San Sebastian by car. If you want you can relax yourself taking a rest in the garden. The host was very kind
We used the hotel as a stopping point on a long journey - for this purpose it is perfect as it is right next to the motorway. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and comfortable enough.
Lovely large and quiet room. Lovely breakfast and close to both central Irun and the French border e.g. I was able to walk from the hotel to Hendaye train station.
