Hotel beautifully decorated for Christmas and very festive vibe including music throughout the hotel. Breakfast was extensive with lots of fresh coffee and orange juice. Staff are trained to the highest standard and discreetly move around the hotel serving guests. The grounds / gardens are beautiful and relaxing. The beds are comfy, the showers are hot, the service is friendly and reliable, and the food is good (breakfast included and you can request dinner for an extra charge). For a few extra dollars you can also use the Turkish sauna. This is my favorite place to stay for easy access to the Quito airport.

Staff are very helpful and charming. We wanted a place to relax and acclimatise on arrival in the altitude of Quito, and San José was just right. It hosts a lot of business and other events, but since the hotel and grounds are so big this didn't bother us.

The area where our room was located, called La Ronda, which is a replica of the street in Quito that is an old colonial neighborhood was very pretty! The staff was very accommodating and responsive to our needs, very friendly.

The restaurant staff handled our large party well and we had a very good meal. The hotel grounds were lovely.

This is like an oasis, and a wonderful place to stay for a day or two.
