Hemingway Lodge with Hot Tub, a property with a restaurant and a bar, is located in York, 23 km from York Railway station. Stayed here with five friends and we had the best time! Lodge was immaculate with all the required facilities. The view over the lake was amazing and the sunken hot tub was lovely. Will highly recommend to friends and family!

The Haven Lodge with Hot Tub, a property with a bar, is situated in York, 23 km from York Railway station. Set 23 km from York Minster, the property offers a restaurant and free private parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the haven! The facilities were great and so clean. We would definitely go back!

Boasting river views, The Sett on The Wharfe provides accommodation with a terrace and a balcony, around 38 km from Royal Hall Theatre. Everything was great. You never know when you book someone's backyard guest house, but the engineering and design of this property was superb. Down a slope from the main house, which is not visible at all from the accommodation, with a huge wall of windows facing the river and the Wharfedale, looking across to Grassington. View off the porch when we arrived is included here. Location was great - easy walk to Grassington and easy access to plenty of public footpaths in the Dales. Hosts were friendly and gave us all the space we wanted. Good recommendations for food and activities and walks. Do yourself a favor and read the Grassington book when you first arrive. We walked the village and later wished I had looked at the book before striking out.

Set in Horton in Ribblesdale, 47 km from Lancaster, Ribblesdale Pods offers a garden and free WiFi. The pods were fantastic! Clean, comfortable and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The hosts seemed to have thought of everything we may need and were extremely friendly and accommodating. We wished we could have stayed longer than 2 night. The hot tub was a real bonus and the perfect place to relax after a day of walking.

Situated in Hutton le Hole, 17 km from Flamingo Land Theme Park, and Dalby Forest reachable within 24 km, The Crown, Hutton le Hole offers a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed, the staff couldn't have been any nicer, they were so welcoming! We had an 18 month old Labrador with us, she was made such a fuss off, very dog friendly. Food was lovely, it is such a cosy welcoming pub. The accommodation was lovely, nice little hamper left for breakfast and the bed was exceptionally comfortable and big! Great location for walking and visiting other towns near by.

Set in York in the North Yorkshire region, The Old Potting Shed features a garden. The accommodation is 7 km from the York Minster. The lodge is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Our stay at The Old Potting Shed was excellent, we would give 100 stars if we could! The room was SUPER clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very very good! Thank you Nick and Margie for everything!

Acorn Glade is an adult-only glamping retreat located on a lake-side meadow and woodland site on the fringes of the Vale of York and the Yorkshire Wolds. To say we had a wonderful stay, would be an understatement! Wendy was so welcoming and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The grounds are beautiful, very quiet and you really feel like you're in a little oasis, away from the city. The cabin we slept in was lovely, with cute decorations and there was tea and coffee available. Wendy gave us lots of tips to discover York as well! We only met Andrew on the last day of our stay but he was just as lovely as Wendy! I couldn't recommend Acorn Glade enough if you're looking to relax away from the city and feel like you're in your own little nature bubble. I could write 3 more paragraphs about how amazing our stay was with Wendy and Andrew, but I'll leave it at this :)
