Great location, host very nice and helpful, kitchen equipped with most of necessary accessories. There is a small warehouse, a barbecue and a terrace were you can spend a lovely afternoon. We appreciated the silence, the amazing surroundings and the fact that you can park the car in front of the house (so no need to travel 5 min by foot from the camping entry).

The Farmhouse Lodge is a lovely vacation house in north Geithoorn, situated right on a canal. The house is absolutely lovely, and outfitted with everything you could possibly need for your stay. You have access to a private garden area with multiple seating options. There is also waterfront seating to enjoy. We awoke each morning to the sounds of so many birds calling to each other. There are kayaks and a canoe you can use. We took a peaceful tour along the canals and small lake in the area one morning, and it was magical.. Nancy and Ed are warm, welcoming hosts. This is the place to stay in Geithoorn.

The check-in was self-entered, the chalet is comfortable equipped with soap and cleaning tools, the resort is very suitable for those who own a car during their stay. There is a car entrance gate to the resort that opens through Remote Control located in the chalet, far from the village centre, but it can be reached by walking along a beautiful water channel. There is a boat rental shop adjacent to the resort. Its prices are high, and I would like to rent a boat with the chalet, especially since the boat rental centres in Gethorne close early (6 p.m.), also we were happy for a while because there were two chalet bikes, but unfortunately they were locked and not available for use.

Loved every minute of our stay, very comfortable and clean. Such a relaxing stay with very friendly staff. Can’t wait to return!

A nice place with a great view over the water channel in front. Nice little yard with a table and a couple of chairs that one can use for dining and having a cup of tea. Convenient parking spot right on the property. A little minimalist on the amenities, but overall all your basic needs should be covered. A couple of things not working properly (mirror light in the bathroom and insects net on the door), but overall nothing too bothersome. Big thank you to the host, as we managed to forget some of the souvenirs we bought, but she didn't mind sending them over to us!
