A recently renovated campground in Lake Panasoffkee, Idlewild Lodge and RV Park offers outdoor fireplace, private parking and sports facilities. We got the room for my sister for Thanksgiving. This place was 10 out of 10. Beautiful lake views, beautiful updated modern cabins. We had the two bedroom one. Beds were so comfy high quality sheets and blankets and pillows. It SMELLED SOOOO GOOD in the room!!! There was 2 fires one gas one wood and a game room with giant Jenga and pool with a TV u could out whatever you want on I'm the warehouse. There was a pool and giant sand pit for the kids. Boats you can rent. The owner approached us the next morning and thanked us for staying he was supppperr nice. Only downside is check in was 2. I think that's so late in the day and would have loved to have extra time. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Perfect place for camping, for a longer stay. We just stayed overnight. People seemed to know each other, nice atmosphere all around. The Ebb Tide Bar was cool.

Featuring pool with a view, fitness centre and views of river, Live Oak Landing is set in Freeport, 50 km from Russell-Fields Pier. I have nothing but good to say about this little oasis. It was very quiet and stress free. Will definitely recommend to anyone coming to this area and I am sure that I will be visiting again as soon as I am able.
