Offering a shared lounge and sea view, RETRO CAMPER HIRE LTD Campervan Hire Company "Travel Throughout Ireland " is situated in Dublin, 4.3 km from Kilmainham Gaol and 5 km from Heuston Train Station. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The campground has family rooms. We rented the "Bandit", a small van which is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. The check in was simple and the handling too, even if it is a retro van with a manual gearbox and we are not used to driving with a manual gearbox on the left. There is room to sleep if you are not too tall (max 1m80 in the Bandit van). So we had a wonderful 5 day trip and the value for money is excellent. We spent 165€ on petrol for our 5 day trip which passed through Galway.

Close to airport after a 24 hour flight. Great being on the beach to flush out the cobwebs! Central for visits to Drogheda and Boyne Valley .Mary and Jason were friendly and helpful.

The location was amazing only around the corner from the centre and 6 mins away from the train station. The streets were noisy but you’d expect that from being so close to the streets, I didn’t mind as I live in London so I had no trouble sleeping but if you aren’t used to it I would either find a different property or get ear buds. The room was very clean and I got small bottles of shampoo and soap and a hair cap. There is a kettle with coffee and tea in the room.

This hotel is in a great central location, close to Howth village which is nice to explore & close to the bus and dart station. It is also facing onto the beach and within walking distance of Burrow beach. The rooms were very clean and comfortable &beautiful decor in the lounge and bar. There is a good breakfast, lunch&dinner menu. There is a good swimming pool/sauna &steam room at the back.
