Kilauea House is set in Volcano, 18 km from Kilauea, 45 km from Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo, as well as 49 km from University of Hawaii, Hilo. Exceptionally clean, and it was as if everything was new for me. The decor, appliances and supplies showed love and care, with amazing thoughtfulness and attention to detail. So many food and snack options I wished I could stay longer to try more. Super peaceful and quiet. You could have complete privacy if you want, but I enjoyed speaking with Pam in the morning.

Located in Keaau, 20 km from Lava Tree State Monument, Ocean Breeze Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The apartment is very pretty and clean, it’s right next to the ocean and the views of the coast are amazing. Perfect place for birds lovers. The host is very friendly and has a lot of helpful tips. There is a laundry room, barbecue and beach items for the guests to use.

Boasting a balcony with sea views, a private beach area and water sports facilities, Ma'ukele Lodge can be found in Pahoa, close to Kaimu Beach and 21 km from Lava Tree State Monument. What a wonderful stay! A cozy room with three double beds in a paradisiacal tropical garden. Raven and Mark are two super hosts full of stories. The breakfast would befit a Michelin star restaurant!

Offering a garden and mountain view, Coffee Garden is set in Captain Cook, 6.9 km from Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park and 7.4 km from Kealakekua Bay. Very cozy place surrounded by a garden which provides most of the food. The hosts are friendly and interesting people. If you're lucky, you'll get a tour through the garden, with its different fruit trees and many other insights to help you get to know the surrounding area better.

Iao Valley Inn features river views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Wailuku, 3.2 km from Iao Valley State Park. Great location, and very good accomodations.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Hilo Bay Oceanfront Bed and Breakfast offers accommodation in Hilo. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms have a private bathroom. We loved our stay here! The room was spotless and Tomami cleaned it every day while we were out. Hand made breakfast was also included which we got to eat in a small breakfast nook with ocean views. This B and B was paradise.

Situated just outside of Hakalau, 20 km from Hilo, Mahana House Country Inn is a non-smoking property and features ocean views, free WiFi access, and free private parking. Simply one of the best places worldwide we ever visited. There was fresh fruit and avocado in the fridge everyday and you are welcome to stroll around on the premises and pick any of the seasonal fruits. We ate lychee e.g. directly from the tree. It's a must if you visit big island and like to be in the less crwoded countryside.

Located within 1.7 km of Rainbow Falls and 3.8 km of Lyman Museum & Mission House in Hilo, Old Hawaiian Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with seating area. Staying at the Old Hawaiian B&B was definitely the highlight of our Hawaii stay. The place is beautiful, authentic, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything you might need during your stay. We have stayed in great hotels all over the world, but the cleanliness of this place is outstanding, everything is absolutely spotless. The garden with the river and waterfall at the back with the wildlife is heaven on earth helping you to disconnect and recharge. Oh, and let’s not forget about how wonderful, diverse and delicious the breakfast was, freshly prepared every morning, including fruit bowls from fruits from the garden, muffins and banana bread also baked in the morning for the guests exclusively. The owners Lory and Stuart, and the lovely Kalā took great care of us. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience in Hawaii, make sure to book this place asap! We will definitely return! Situated in Kailua-Kona and only 8.9 km from Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park, Hale Hualalai features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Ricky is an exceptional host. His warm hospitality and willingness to go the extra mile made our stay at the B&B an unforgettable experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was simply amazing. On top of that, the farm animals and wildlife added an extra touch of joy to our stay, especially for my partner.

Hale-Hoola B & B is located in Captain Cook. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a patio and a seating area. Fantastic, geat hosts, very helpful.
