There is a well-kept garden where you can sit with a glass of wine at the end of the day. The hosts are charming and go out of their way to make you feel good. One of the best places we stayed.

Set in Sežana, in a historic building, 20 km from Trieste Train Station, Guesthouse Domacija Sajna is a guest house with a garden and bar. You can have dinner under the trees tasting mushrooms and truffles and excellent meat! The staff is customer oriented and cuisine also very good. Apartments are clean, large and bed very comfortable. Take the chance to visit the Postumia caves which are really very impressive! Last but not least, I forgot my power supply there and after three days it was upon my desk at home. Top!

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.... We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the Castle house. I would say - we found the best location in the region. The hosts, Nadia and Boris were very kind and helpful. They are also the great cookers and we could enjoy breakfast, dinner and gorgeous desert. Nadia was so kind to cook also for our little 1-year-old daughter. The room was very comfortable, all the furniture was new and very stylish. The location is very good - with a beautiful nature around. We could enjoy also riding bicycles along the fields of grapes and forests. We were lucky with the weather so we could enjoy the swimming pool.

Gaja, the owner, was super helpful and welcoming. Excellent breakfast, 6- course top notch dinner menu, great wines. Visiting this place is a must when touring Alps to Adriatics bike route in Slovenia!

Exceptional location, excellent starting point for cyclists and hikers. Great accommodation and a rich breakfast with local ingredients. I absolutely recommend.
