Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, Solar de Santo André is a recently renovated guest house located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. We had a phenomenal stay at Solar de St. André. We stayed for a week and were blown away by the standard of the accommodation and the fantastic hospitality. Eduarda and her team are brilliant and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We were always made to feel welcome and were even invited to a nearby concert, which was excellent. Marina deserves a special mention as she not only prepared fab breakfasts each morning, but gave us local advice, recommendations and just nice chit chat! Our room - the blue room - had everything we needed, super clean, well appointed and quiet. Comfortable bed. The hotel is like a museum, everything is charming and quaint but also modern and well-finished. Breakfast selection was always great, local produce and coffee always on hand . We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place.

Located just 8.5 km from Pico do Carvao, Vila Rosario features accommodation in Ponta Delgada with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as luggage storage space. It is a building containing a number of appartments. it is on the main street in the village, but the windows don't face the street so it is very quiet. We also didn't really hear the neighbours, which is nice. The whole place is very clean and modern. There is a common kitchen to use, things like tea and coffee are available. Breakfast was included, but we had to leave early in the morning, so the property provided us with bread and ham and cheese for sandwiches - which was a really nice way to solve this. There is a small gated parking, so the cars are safe. Check-in was easy as well. The bed was comfortable, the staff helpful.

Private bathroom is huge. The host is very attentive and helpful. Daniel helped me with taxi when I was in the middle of the island.

Good experience overall! Everything was available in the room without any reception advice needed. You can enjoy yourself here; breakfast is sufficient. They thought everything to make us comfortable, and the location is excellent, so close to beautiful Furnas that you would love the nature ❤️they provided all the info in the room, even an explorer map, which helped us to discover Sao Miguel. The team was also super helpful; 100% recommended for a good stay

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Algarvia, Casa Baleia a Vista is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain. Manuela is a wonderfull host, she is also a great chef, we enjoyed her diner and breakfast. The view is also really Beautiful, we had a lovely vacation

Located just 24 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon, Casa do Pateo - Charming House Azores offers accommodation in Ponta Delgada with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a lift. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa do Pateo. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast with all it's choices and home made goodies was just wonderful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We also really appreciated the central location and the wonderful renovated traditional house. Also the inner courtyard to relax with a drink was a nice add-on. If we ever go back to Ponta Delgada, we go straight back here!
