Featuring free WiFi, São Francisco Accommodation is a renovated building with 6 floors and a lift. It offers modern rooms in Funchal, within a 5-minute walk from the harbour. We arrived late in the night due to a last minute cancelling at the Airport of Funchal. We were welcomed with great warmth. The ambiance there was very cosy and pleasant, and so were the people. Definitely to recommend!

La Casa das Proteas té vista sobre l'oceà Atlàntic i està situada a Sítio da Felpa (São Jorge), a l'illa de Madeira. It was a wonderful experience that was made exceptional by the kindness we received from the owner Teresa and the other members of the staff. We had dinner several times here during our stay and it was always delicious and served in a lovely and familiar atmosphere.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. EVERYTHING. Imagine a corner of paradise and you will think of something very similar to Casa Da Piedade: a facility surrounded by nature, with a wonderful pool overlooking palm trees and mountains, with very clean rooms, equipped with everything you need (e.g., hair dryer, fully functioning hot water and heating) and furnished with impeccable style. The fantastic staff will make you feel super welcome and pampered (on arrival we found a free gift of Bolo do Caco and Madeira waiting for us in our room) and when you wake up you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast in one of the bright common room. If I were to return to Madeira I would definitely come back here and I definitely recommend it! Thank you 🥰

Offering a terrace and city view, Alexia Room is set in Funchal, 1.7 km from Marina do Funchal and 15 km from Girao Cape. Hostess was friendly & provided a variety of activities & restaurants in Funchal. Her suite was very clean & comfortable, beautiful bed linens/pillows along with a microwave& coffee maker. Alexia room was a perfect for a short stay & the neighbourhood was easy to navigate once you got used to the hills of Funchal. Great place for solo travellers.

Located in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos and only 2.1 km from Vigário Beach, Vila Afonso provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. My wife and I loved the villa! It was clean and comfy. The host was super helpful and gave us good hiking tips. Would definitely stay again.

Sunset House in Arco da Calheta provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Such a lovely stay. The room was very nice, the kitchen made me feel like home, and the balcony is perfect to watch the sunset!

A beautifully decorated room with balcony and private bathroom. A wonderful friendly host. Complimentary kettle and coffee sachets. Outstanding View and beautiful swimming pool. Very comfortable bed . Freshly baked biscuits and wonderful Coffee in the morning. Everything was simply wonderful.

Located within 2.7 km of Calheta Beach and 25 km of Girao Cape, Amoreira House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Calheta. The apartment is great, very spacious and comfortable. Hosts are very kind and willing to help with anything. Taking service to the next level! Good location to go to other parts of the island and enough restaurants/bars/supermarket close by!

Set in Câmara de Lobos, 700 metres from Vigário Beach, Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Honestly at first, I was a bit taken aback that there is no staff on site and that it was more of a house/Airbnb type than a hotel. However, it turned out to be AMAZING. I made this purchase DAY OF because of a very stressful last minute change to my trip, and this place was just what I needed to unwind and relax. Everything was super clean, and safe, and the facilities were just wonderful. I also talked with the cleaning lady the next day and she was super sweet. There were mango trees dropping fruit on the property, and all in all it was just magical. Free protected parking and everything. I felt completely safe there. There’s also a grocery store like a 5 min walk away if you want to go pick things up to cook (as well as many eateries).
