This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Quinta do Fojo Valonguinho, Barrô er staðsett í Barrô, 16 km frá Our Lady of Remedies-helgistaðnum og 19 km frá Douro-safninu. Boðið er upp á grillaðstöðu og fjallaútsýni. Fernanda was an amazing host, very hospitable. Breakfast was lovely with a great variety of fresh regional products including homemade jams, different cheeses, fresh bread baked in wooden oven. Views were breathtaking, everything clean and quiet. We got an upgrade of our room to a double bed as they were not fully booked. Fernanda prepared excellent dinner for us.

Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro er með fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, í um 1,3 km fjarlægð frá Douro-safninu. Wonderful guest house with all of the amenities you could ask for. Marco and Joana are friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. We can't recommend this accommodation more for a long weekend in the Douro Valley, off-street and secure parking was another huge bonus!

Zimão Garden House er staðsett í Vila Real, 30 km frá Natur Waterpark, 31 km frá Golf Course Vidago Palace og 43 km frá Douro Museum. Good coffee machine. Breakfast not provided, but fruit is and mineral water. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Kitchen is well equipped.

It was more than a stay, it was an experience. Jaw dropping views and well maintained modern rooms. Quant and we had a chance to have dinner/bbq there with those amazing views and delicious wine. Can not recommend highly enough

Casa do Arco by Douro Exclusive í São Cristóvão do Douro býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna, bar og sameiginlega setustofu. The property has an amazing view on the valley and river. Everything is so well thought of to welcome you in a peaceful environment for a relaxing stay!

Golden Mirror í Lamego býður upp á fjallaútsýni, gistirými, sjóndeildarhringssundlaug, garð, bar og sameiginlega setustofu. Absolute gem of the Douro Valley! My husband and I picked the Golden Mirror for the Douro portion of our honeymoon and we were so glad that we did! The rooms are spacious, clean and new and the view from our room was absolutely breath taking! The hosts of the hotel are so SO nice and helped us with parking every time we came back. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minute drive from Regua and about 10 minute drive to Lamego - both had good options for dining. We did two wine tastings just down the road at Quinta da Pacheco and Quinta de Tourais - both were incredible and just a couple minutes from the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a 10/10! We hope to be back some day.

Everything!!! our apartment was stunning! we had two separate bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living room. the rooms were spotlessly clean! the pool is gorgeous and the views breathtaking. the breakfast is everything the other reviews said and more! one of our children is coeliac and they provided an excellent range of products that varied each morning… this was so important to us! we didn’t bring a car and we were able to arrange a taxi to the nearest supermarket for €35 return! This is a great option if you wish to get the train to Pala station which is only 5min walk from the property (but steep and stepped so not great for anyone with accessibility issues) and was wayyyy cheaper than €1400 we were quoted for a car for the week! The train runs from Porto.
