Chris (the owner) is extremely friendly and has so much local knowledge. I was able to plan all my trips with him. The hostel is really clean and cosy - with a fireplace, great beds and huge terrace to chill and watch the sunset. In my 3+ months traveling, Chris has been the best host. Thank you :)

The decoration is very "feel at home" and warm, rooms also. There's a terrace in the dining room. Mat night you can order dinner if you want (very big plates, ask 1 for 2) and they will even light the fireplace for you

Aja gave us so many advices and helped us so much to explore Huaraz and also the surroundings. The breakfast is great. There is also a terrace where you can read calm a book. The bed was very comfortable. In general the accommodation was very clean.

Hostal Universal ligger 500 meter från det stora torget och 400 meter från Oltursas busstation. Här erbjuds gratis Wi-Fi och en 24-timmarsreception i Huaraz. The owners are very nice! They arranged everything for us during our stay (good price), including tours, earlier breakfast etc. Also had a (very) early check in after a night bus. Location directly in the city center with the street market in the same street, but no noise. Hotel is just perfect to stay in Huaraz.

Hacienda Norabuena ligger i Recuay, 29 km från Rosas Pampa stadion, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. Melissa and her husband were wonderful hosts, welcoming us onto their property with a tour of the grazing lands behind the hotel, introducing us to all their animals (friendly dogs, llamas, sheep, cattle, chickens, rabbits), and conversing with us throughout the evening. They gave us advice on our trip through Peru and seemed genuinely interested in our travels. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and secluded. They cooked dinner (15 soles, I think) and breakfast for us (2-3 soles pp) and both were delicious with farm fresh eggs.

Alpino Guest House erbjuder boende i Huaraz (Ancash), 2,9 km från Rosas Pampa stadion. Utöver rumsservice har detta boende även en terrass. We loved the staff, they were friendly, kind, communicative, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for us. They also spoke English very well, which is not common in Huaraz, so that made this stay a lot easier for us because we are not strong Spanish speakers. The rooms and the bathroom were clean. The location was quiet so we were able to sleep well. Hot water was available (the labels were incorrect but there was hot water nonetheless). We had good phone signal/reception and wifi was available. The hotel staff also booked our tours for us which helped make our trip smooth and easy. They also offered to make us breakfast for a small fee since we had to be up really early for our tours. This was such a pleasant stay, I highly recommend.
