My host Laura gave me a great room and gave me very good recommendations for restaurants and things to do in town. Breakfast was excellent, I could choose from a menu and everything was ready when I arrived. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean every single day when I came back, had a super comfortable bed and despite not being a deluxe room I still had a great view of the garden. Amenities in the bathroom were a good surprise, they even had a dental kit with a toothbrush and since I had forgotten mine this saved the day. When I explained to Laura that I had to leave early morning to catch my train she arranged a bag with breakfast items so I wouldn't leave on an empty stomach. The property was also very safe, everything is password-locked but it was still easy to come and go.

Corte Calzaiuoli Elegant Suites terletak di pusat Firenze, 200 meter dari Piazza della Signoria. The room was very nice. We got a room facing the back patio that was very quiet considering the buildings is in the middle of Florence. The bed is delicious. Staff is great. If you can avoid driving a car into Florence’s downtown area, I really recommend it; it’s chaotic and streets are very narrow. But if you end up taking a car, the staff will help you get it picked up at the front door of the building to be taken to a garage.
