Vogafjos Guesthouse yang dikendalikan oleh keluarga ini terletak dalam persekitaran semula jadi yang unik di pantai timur Tasik Myvatn. The farmhouse is a beautiful accommodation. The staff is very kind and helpful. The restaurant is lovely with its view (on the landscape and the cows!), and the food (mostly homemade with farm products) was delicious! I highly recommend.

Frostastaðir guesthouse is situated 12 km from Varmahlid by road 76, and features barbecue facilities, garden and terrace. Free WiFi is included. It was self catering but we cooked a evening meal and then a cooked breakfast the next day. We lingered as long as we could - didnt want to leave. this is a property that deserves a 2 or 3 day stay to relax and go out hiking in the day time. We would go back again for longer if visiting iceland again.

Incredibly kind owners, nice rooms. We were able to get an excellent dinner after a long day of driving. The breakfast was also top notch. If you want a more personal experience, this is the place. My daughter loved it because she could feed the lambs of the farm.

Everything is perfectly clean, only the rooms are very small. The hot tub is a great benefit with perfect view.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast items: eggs, bread, butter and jam. What an unexpected treat! We cooked a wonderful breakfast for ourselves.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Bolstaoarhlio Guesthouse is set in Bólstaðarhlíð. Some units include views of the river or garden. Every room is equipped with a private bathroom. Owner Einar communicated with us with all the information well. The guesthouse was just by Hwy 1 and was easy to find. Nice house by the church. Einar and her 2 dogs welcome us well when we arrived. Einar is very nice and showed us around and made sure we were settled. The room and bathroom is very clean. Shower was hot and strong. We got the middle one and it had a fantastic view of the mountain. The living room is roomy. We had breakfast in the kitchen and it was very clean as well.
