Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast items: eggs, bread, butter and jam. What an unexpected treat! We cooked a wonderful breakfast for ourselves.

This was our best stay in Iceland thus far. The room was comfortable with a table outside and a view to a waterfall. We stayed later than any other during our visit to Iceland. Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Very clean, great shared kitchen, bedroom large and comfortable. The staff is amazing especially Monika who helped me pay a parking fine. She went above and beyond being helpful. A really lovely person that helped me and made my stay so nice.

I was here five years ago and the equipment was bad. The renovation is great. Clean rooms, large kitchen and common room. Close to Pizza and restaurants with a farm. Very nice stafs.
