Set in Fludir, in a building dating from 1993, Skyggnir Bed and Breakfast offers a garden and guestrooms with free WiFi. Featuring a shared lounge, this property also provides guests with a terrace. We arrived and the super nice and friendly host welcomed us in the guesthouse. He gave us very useful hints for our travel and we had a very nice conversation. The guesthouse is put together with a lot of thoughts and love. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need, the decoration tells you a lot about Iceland and once you step into the house, you get a feeling of home. The location is also great, just a few min from the next village (with the secret lagoon). It is dark there in the night, so perfect to see the northern lights. The room we had, was quiet small, but just large enough to open all the language. It had comfortable hangers and a heater for we cloth and the bed was super comfortable. In short, we were super happy with our stay and that for a very very good price!

Amazing experience, loved the interior and the upper deck for the stunning view. We had clouds instead of northern lights. Still, amazing stay during the roadtrip!! Would come back anytime.

Urridafoss Waterfall is 11 km away.... The place was very clean, equipped with a large kitchen and different common rooms to hang out. The room was great and the beds comfortable. The whole guesthouse was probably renovated a while back because it's better live than on the pictures on booking.

Excellent room with a view out the front. Laura was a most excellent and kind hostess! We enjoyed talking to her, and the breakfast she prepared was amazing.
