Everything was amazing, unfortunately we failed to find the horses. But a great stay overall

The house is right outside the town of Egilsstadir, very easy to find. We were met by a very friendly owner and his two lovely dogs. He was extremely helpful and the house was truly a gem! Decorated with old-style furniture, but very cosy, clean and it has a hot tub outside with an amazing view! We wish we could have stayed longer and can definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to spend time at East Iceland!

For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hair dryer. the view from our balcony was the best. the host was amazing and tried helping us with local things to see and eat around. it was spotless and clean and so welcoming! We were lucky to spot faint northern lights right outside our balcony.

Haukaberg House's offers a bright accommodation featuring blackout curtains and private entrance. The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, all with a shower and hairdryer. Well designed interior, cozy living space and a spotless kitchen. Bathroom and our beds made us feel home. 10/10 would stay here again.
