Dannii is a delightful and consummate host and the room ( Canal Room) was very spacious, beautifully decorated and appointed, spotlessly clean and everything one needs is supplied, including little extras and luxury ( Aesop) toiletries. The king size bed was super comfortable too. The drive through next door golf club provides a picturesque way to access this tranquil property.

We enjoyed our stay at The Hedges. Paul and Yvonne were very friendly and responsive, and provided all the information we asked for, as well as some extra tips about the city. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the little Scottish extras (whisky and shortbread) that were waiting in our room! We were able to store our luggage at the property as our flight only left in the evening, which was also appreciated.

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.
