The service, the experience and standards of living are all taken to a whole new level. We are so greatful that we chose to live here during the visit to Edinburgh.

Straven Guesthouse ตั้งอยู่ในเอดินบะระ ห่างจากหาด Portobello Beach ไม่เกิน 100 ม. Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

Bus stop(s) near and couple of times we even walk from city center to our guesthouse (max 30 min walk, by bus would take as long because buses have like stops in every 100 meters). Very clean, tea/coffee making facilities in the room, biscuits, fresh milk was provided (BIG bonus points from me cause I drink my coffee with lots of milk and I don`t like those tiny separate coffee creams). Comfortable beds, enough pillows (2 for both). Kathryn is very helpful and friendly. Neighbourhood was quiet.
