Situated in Edinburgh, near Edinburgh Playhouse, Edinburgh Waverley station and Royal Mile, Ben Cruachan Guest House features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a terrace. Lovely place with very welcoming and receptive staff. Room was spacious and luxurious with a couple of sofa ledges. Amenities provided were extensive as well, including cognac on top of regular items. Breakfast was impressive and varied, and of course its the Scottish that has porridge with whisky, who else would!

Boasting a shared lounge, West End Townhouse is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in the centre of Edinburgh, close to EICC. We wanted a great place to stay, but this place is so so much more than that. Everything is perfect and the aesthetics is of the highest of standards. The location, service, quality of breakfast and personal engagement are excellent. Carol and her familiy clearly cares about their place and their visitors. The service, the experience and standards of living are all taken to a whole new level. We are so greatful that we chose to live here during the visit to Edinburgh.

Located in Ratho and only 12 km from Edinburgh Zoo, Coach House Ratho Park Steading provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Stunning property! We had such a lovely and relaxing stay. Dannii was such a wonderful and welcoming host. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting Edinburgh. Quiet location - just a short Uber or Taxi drive from the city.

The Hedges features accommodation situated 1.4 km from the centre of Edinburgh and offers a garden and a terrace. This 5-star guest house offers luggage storage space and a housekeeping service. We enjoyed our stay at The Hedges. Paul and Yvonne were very friendly and responsive, and provided all the information we asked for, as well as some extra tips about the city. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also appreciated the little Scottish extras (whisky and shortbread) that were waiting in our room! We were able to store our luggage at the property as our flight only left in the evening, which was also appreciated.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Straven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi. Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Falcon Crest Guest House is located in Edinburgh, 2.8 km from Royal Yacht Britannia and 2.9 km from Edinburgh Playhouse. Location though not in the city center was actually excellent. Bus stop(s) near and couple of times we even walk from city center to our guesthouse (max 30 min walk, by bus would take as long because buses have like stops in every 100 meters). Very clean, tea/coffee making facilities in the room, biscuits, fresh milk was provided (BIG bonus points from me cause I drink my coffee with lots of milk and I don`t like those tiny separate coffee creams). Comfortable beds, enough pillows (2 for both). Kathryn is very helpful and friendly. Neighbourhood was quiet.
