The house is right outside the town of Egilsstadir, very easy to find. We were met by a very friendly owner and his two lovely dogs. He was extremely helpful and the house was truly a gem! Decorated with old-style furniture, but very cosy, clean and it has a hot tub outside with an amazing view! We wish we could have stayed longer and can definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to spend time at East Iceland!

Clean and roomy. Nice kitchen and big dinning area. Check in is easy. Key in a locked box at the front door. Your key is on the lock of your own room. Good hot shower. 2 supermarkets 5 min drive from guesthouse.

This was really nice house to stay in. The kitchen was really well equipped. We had a good parking spot right in front of the house. Nice quiet area in the living parts of the town. We came to enjoy the Vök baths (really great place) and ended up in an extreme snowstorm. We got an experience of a lifetime in the canyons near the town.

Perfect! Good shower, super cozy and comfy bed and pillows. The perfect spot to see the northern lights! We could see it through the window and couldn’t be more perfect!
