The hotel was fantastic, very modern and our room was upgraded to a suite in two floors. Of course we couldn't use so much space but it was nice anyway. Bedroom very comfortable. The swimming pool was good and the hot tub very appreciated. The views to the bay are also nice (although half of the view is towards the commercial harbour). It's not far from Praia da Vitória (walkable). Staff at the reception desk and at breakfast was very kind, enthusiastic and available. Breakfast was very good. We would definitely come back again to this hotel.

Located in Angra do Heroísmo, 700 metres from Silveira Beach, Palacio Santa Catarina Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This is the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in! On one hand, you can feel the rich history of the place, and on the other hand, it's a charming boutique hotel where every detail is beautifully crafted. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the amazing breakfast, and the stunning views. It’s a place I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Angra. Angra stole my heart; it's a place I would love to return to. You can take a leisurely 20-minute walk to the city center or drive to convenient public parking spots.

Situated in Angra do Heroísmo, Casa Dos Reis - Boutique Hostel offers beachfront accommodation 400 metres from Zona Balnear da Prainha Beach and features various facilities, such as a garden, a shared... First of all the lady who manages the hostel is an amazing person. She gave me a lot of information and made sure my stay was just perfect. The room had comfy bed and nice terrace on the Monte Brasil. Amazing breakfast. Super good position, in the middle of city center and very close to a public free parking lot.

Located in Angra do Heroísmo, 400 metres from Zona Balnear da Prainha Beach, Aliança café & hostel provides rooms with air conditioning. Great location; very central in Angra, close to the beach and several restaurants. There is also a fun plaza right in front where you can grab a coffee or drink at any time of the day. Easily accessible by taxi or car from the airport (approx. 15 minute drive). The private room was comfortable, spacious, very clean and well equipped. Contrary to other reviews, the room is quite soundproofed. The café downstairs is very convenient and lively. They serve brunch on the week-ends (not included $), which was great as breakfast options are sometimes limited (especially on Sundays when everything is closed).

Located within 600 metres of Zona Balnear da Prainha Beach and 2.3 km of Silveira Beach, The Shipyard - Angra offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Angra do Heroísmo. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. It was our base to tour the city and Island. The staff was excellent and helped us all the time. Breakfast was rich with a tasty variety of food. We also had a super tasty dinner one of the evenings. Parking was convenient and all hotel facilities were excellent. Perfect location in the city and in the Island as well

Situated in Praia da Vitória and with Grande Beach reachable within a few steps, Facing Bay Hostel features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace.... A beautiful spacious room, with a big bed; even the en-suite bathroom was big. The large terrace was ideal for enjoying the views over the bay. Being a hostel, there was even a small shared kitchen we could use on the floor above. Sandra, who looks after the hostel seems lovely. She does everything.

The staff was very attentive to our needs. The room and private bathroom were great and the common areas (kitchen and terrace) were Amazing. Breakfast was included and very generous.

Generous rooms with a simple and modern aesthetic; super location and great views and facilities. I really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and admiring the view. It's great when they've clearly thought through simple practicalities like sockets, lighting and enough hooks ! Staff super friendly and helpful- the Google map with tips was such a nice touch.
