They arranged a nice, must visit, cheese making factory. The breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to our next trip. Thanks once again Paula and Marcia...you made our New Year Bright! It was a gem of a place in a small peaceful mountain village. It was a comfortable place and had everything we needed. The host was especially wonderful and we enjoyed meeting her very much.

One has to follow Solar de Maceira name in Google, and not its address, because the main entrance is not on that street. We really enjoyed the garden, pool, views, goats and sheep in the evening coming to graze, closeness to Sierra de Estrella...
