We absolutely loved it! The apartment was not only cozy and clean but also well-designed, mixing old & new. The kitchen is very well equipped, there are thoughtful little touches such as wine/beer to buy. It was not just a stay, however, it was an experience. The place has lots of history and the personal encounter with our host Gísli made our stay all the more special. He shared plenty of interesting knowledge about the history of the place, things to do in the area, etc. Couldn't have wished for a better experience! Thank you, Gísli!

We arrived ahead of our scheduled time, but our host was there, cleaning the houses, so we got our keys right away and also had a good chat with him. The system at Bjarkarholt Guesthouse is: do it yourself. So we had to make our own beds and also take off the linen and towels and stow them in a bag, when we left. It's not a big deal and you save some money. The houses have a working kitchen, fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster. Wi-fi was fine too.

Apartment with Amazing Mountain View on hiljuti renoveeritud apartement Bolungarvíkis, kus külalised saavad nautida aeda ja terrassi. The 3 BHk was excellent with all the facilities, including washing machine and drier. The contact person was good and helped over phone on how to use few things in the apartment.

Ideal localization, near the sea. Big house with full equipment, lots of space and clean. In addition, the hot water pool on the terrace is really great, we had a very nice time. I reccomended it!

This was the best apartment we stayed in during our Iceland trip! Literally everything you’d need and the washer and dryer put it over the top!

Better than any hotel we stayed at during our vacation. Very clean and comfortable. A gorgeous view from the bedrooms. A perfect base to explore the area. Very friendly and available host who will gladly help you with any questions you might have.

Check in instructions were easy to follow, and directions to the property were well thought out. Great space for our evening after a long day of driving!
