Levenhowe Holiday Apartment ligger i Balloch, 28 km från Mugdock Country Park och 29 km från University of Glasgow, i ett område där man kan ägna sig åt vandring. Easy check in with the keys in the lockbox. Alan, our host, responded quickly to our queries. The apartment was clean and tidy, which could accommodate 4 of us. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was well equipped and we can prepare simple meals. The beds were comfortable which allowed us a good sleep. The location was good too, within walking distance to the town center and near driving to places of attractions around Balloch. The TV entertainment channels were great! And finally the checking out like any other instructions was easy and simple. Thanks Alan and June. We had a great stay although it was only for two nights.

The highlights were definitely the own sauna in the bathroom and the hot tub in a separate little shed across the garden. We had gone to Loch Lomond to hike and these installations were so relaxing for our aching bones. The apartment itself was lovely and cosy and our warm-hearted host Eddie kept enquiring whether we needed anything. A plus were the lovely view and Eddie’s sheep and his two cute dogs. Absolutely recommended!

The location was fabulous .... a rural location on the outskirts of Drymen. Very convenient for visits to Loch Lomond, Balmaha, Rowardennan, Balloch, and for hiking on the West Highland Way and and climbing/walking on local hills. Plus a relatively short drive to Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. Exceptionally comfortable and modern property. Warm and cosy and very well appointed. Owner, Jenny, met with us on arrival and gave us some helpful guidance on local attractions and nearby pubs and eateries.
