We didn't expect much, but were happily surprised by a kind owner and a hotel-room-like apartment. The owner also left us a small breakfast and some treats!

When we walked in we thought it was the reception to the building (as it's on the ground floor and has something of a feeling of a shop with the floor to ceiling windows etc), however very quickly realised it was indeed the actual apartment. Spotlessly clean, and felt luxurious to only have 2 of us staying when the apartment could quite comfortably sleep 6. Entry was very easy with the code provided, and parking is available just over the road in the small car park behind the K-Market. Would highly recommend for a trip to Savonlinna as it's in an incredible location just 5 minutes walk from Olavinlinna and the lakeside, but also easily accessible from the road.

We used this accommodation as our home base for several day tours in the Finnish lake region, and we do not regret it for a small moment. A nice small guesthouse with a private sauna, just a short walk away from the harbour, offers anything you need as a tourist. Granted, the room may not have the most modern look, but we were happy nonetheless: the room was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen has many utensils. The biggest asset of this guesthouse? The host: a very kind and welcoming lady who helped us on our way multiple times. This hospitality was also reflected in all common areas, which were breathing a cozy 'welcome home'-atmosphere. I would most definitely book here again.

Salpalinjan Hovi ligger i en charmerende, renoveret skolebygning, 10 minutters kørsel fra Lappeenranta centrum. Excellent location and awesome place to stay close to Lappeenranta. The "history room" is super, it's very spacious and it's fully furnished with everything. The host is very nice and helpful in explaining what to do in the nearby area and in Rutola village. Nearby there's a GP Grilli which is excellent. I highly recommend it if you're passing by!

Holiday Linnunlahti ligger ved søen Pyhäselkä i det nordlige Karelen og tilbyder lejligheder med egen forplejning, egen terrasse, sauna og hems. Joensuus centrum ligger 1 km derfra. Breakfast was very generous, and the place was very well equipped! It was very quiet and pleasant. Nice sauna!

Excellent and bright apartment in central location, but quiet. Apartment was very clean with all necessary amenities. Owner friendly and responsive. No complaints - Great place to stay in beautiful Joensuu!
