Situated in the village of Knightstown and close to all amenities it was the perfect location to visit all the attractions, suggested by Enda, that the island, and mainland, had to offer. With uninterrupted sea views from both the sitting room and master bedroom, enhanced by the evening sun and reassuring beam of Valentia Lighthouse , by night, made this location ideal for a vacation.

Everything about this property exceeded my expectations. There was plenty of space for my two sisters and I to spread out. The kitchen/dining/sitting room was large, open and with comfortable seating. The kitchen was well equipped for any kind of food preparation. The two bedrooms upstairs were a good size each with an en-suite bathroom. Another bathroom was conviently located on the main level. The entire townhome was spotlessly clean. Our host Enda was available and very welcoming. She provided helpful information about the local area and even made a reservation for us at a local restaurant when we arrived late on the day we checked in. The balcony overlooks the inlet from the Valentia lighthouse to Ballycarbery castle. Wonderful views!

The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and the unit was was very cozy and functional. We had a bodum for coffee provided and even some basics for breakfast. A perfect stay for visiting skellig micheals.
